"He's fantastic If I need arrows 10¢ a pop If I want a sling shot for my kid $10 I want a 10/22 fixed 40bucks Can't beat his price or efficiency As well as genuinely a good American Can't recommend him enough"
"Fast service and a fair price for sight work."
"He acted like he was in a very bad mood, 1911 denting cases gave ammo for when he would test. 1/2 hour later he had two casings in beautiful shape said it's as good as I can do, I Thought wow he fixed it, took out shooting every case is still dented like before, funny the two he showed me did not smell like freshly fired brass. And were not mine. Hugh well he got my money and my 1911 I had to take somewhere else."
"I've used CAR in the past, so I took in a pistol to have a rear dovetail sight removed and replaced. The other thing I needed done was to mount a new wood Boyd's stock for a Savage A17. He worked on it for nearly an hour, but was unsuccessful*. He did all the work while I waited. I also bought a used rifle case for the A17 from him. The price was much less than I expected. *I called R&S Precision Sports, the seller of the Boyd's stock, and they alerted me to several reasons why my gunsmith was unable to make it fit properly."
"I took my Ruger Blackhawk on for a strip clean and stated I wanted it disassembled, and cleaned. After getting home I took a closer look at my gun and realized it wasn't disassembled and cleaned. Added a picture of below the sights after i cleaned it. This is ridiculous that this was passed of as being "strip cleaned". Go elsewhere. Forgot to add, the gun was, for some reason, fired even though it wasn't striped and therefore had no reason to shoot it. I know this because of the residue left in the barrel that was clean when I took it to him. Also, I find it funny that he responded to the other 1 star review and not mine. Cause he knows he screwed me"
