"I'm a first timer there. We went yesterday for the first time. The employees where very friendly, they explained the reward program and they answered all our questions. They have alot of good stuff for good prices, you just have to look."
"The clerks in the store helping me we're very friendly. I see that this place gets a lot of low ratings and it's because people are p*ssed because they are not getting offered the money that they think they deserve for their clothing. It's definitely not a get rich quick opportunity, nor is it something you'd want to make your permanent side gig: they are looking for specific items and they're very open and upfront about what those things are before you even bring them in. They have to have standards and I understand that. Apparently most people have a problem with it. There's no secrets up front going into the place if you read their website. You shouldn't have any problems if you follow their guidelines. The clerk that I dealt with even recommended a couple of other places I could go to within the area that might be able to buy the things that she couldn't. I was really grateful for her help."
"Came in 2/23/24 with over 60 items of clothes. Some things i understand passing on because I brought in so much.90% were all name brand from Buckle. Specifically I brought in 21 trendy short sleeve button ups all from Buckle and in great condition. No holes no stains and Same brand and in season. She passed on all of them. I’ve sold to Plato’s for quite some time and they always take my lightly used clothes and they have always taken a a good amount of them. Just left feeling disappointed and confused. You need to better advertise what you’re looking for instead wasting everyone’s time."
"Brought in 1 bag of very nice quality and they purchased almost all of them and said they’re especially looking for plus size in the same styles. I brought in 6 bags of the same nice quality and up to date styles with plus sizes and they bought 0 items today. They didn’t even look through them. One of the bags had all brand new with tags on still. When I arrived to pick up they’re was chaos and none of the 4 registers working. All 3 people picking up were told they didn’t have anything the store was interested in. I believe they never looked at their items either! Lost 1hr of my day driving bag and forth. So annoying!!"
"Just left 9/28/2023 at 4:30pm so whoever is working can be held responsible. I brought in a bag of quality items that are all relevant to the current and upcoming season, many of which are listed on their items and brand that are in high demand. After an hour I came back and they told me they found nothing that they wanted to purchase. I had like new Free People items among other things so I was surprised but was polite and left. Upon setting my bag back in the car, I noticed that everything that was in the bag was placed in there exactly as I had put it in there. A few pairs of shoes wedges on top in a specific way with my items in the exact order I had placed them in. My bag of items was untouched! They wasted an hour of my time to pretend to do their jobs. I am extremely disappointed. I called and spoke with the “manager” and asked if maybe it was overlooked and she said it was not her job to go through the items and that she doesn’t know. The kids running this place need to have some supervision to ensure they are doing their jobs because it is not getting done. Maybe try a different location if you are looking to sell your items."
