Reviews
"As I was browsing a gentleman (I believe the manager who keeps getting these negative reviews) told me I could not carry my bad and I had to leave it in the front of the store where it could easily be stolen. I asked for any alternatives and none were offered. It is clear how much the staff care about the shoppers. Would leave 0 stars if I could."
"Love coming to this store, especially on Saturdays when most things are 50% off. I have found so many great items here, including clothing, furniture, household items, shoes, books, art supplies, holiday decor, and things for school (like teacher supplies)."
"I have shopped here daily for years, since before it was an Arc, and was a Savers thrift store. Recently I have noticed extremely poor service, With such high turnover, you see this from time to time. Usually the bad employees dont stick around long. However over the last 7-8 months the store has really gone down hill. Store Management mistreats, and allows employees to mistreat customers, and does not support the notion of providing good customer service. Many workers are temporary, appear disheveled, and have a 100% language barrier. It appears they rarely hire special needs people anymore (which were usually the nicest employees there) This equates to a very messy store, inconsistent pricing, and a terrible environment for people with younger kids. Employees hoard away good merchandise, as they have it priced super low for them self, or other employees to purchase. You can tell they are doing this as they will bring out several carts of items to be shelved. Since forever customers have been fully allowed per company policy to shop these bins. That is why they bring them all out etc... Certain employees will push carts back into the back for seemingly no reason, other than to keep customers from shopping them... I have witnessed on more than one occasion various employees failing to handle disputes with customers. From refunds, to pricing, to reports of employees mistreating customers, including an adult with special needs. They just don't seem to care. There is certainly a group of employees who seem to think that the store is there personal space, and not a public shopping venue. The Woodlawn shopping area is generally worn down, and will most likely be completely demolished, and re-developed within 5-10 years."
"We drove down from Summit County and dropped 20 bags of clothes and books and goodies there today. The stores up here still aren’t accepting donations since Covid. So we loaded up. The staff was great at the collection area. Talkative and friendly."
