"Such a beautiful spot! We explored around one of the short trails leading to the bridge. We definitely want to come back in summer when we can enjoy the river more and there’s not as much snow."
"This is an excellent place to get out and enjoy nature without having to be in top physical condition. Easy, flat walking paths along the river and the bonus of finding a castle nestled in the woods. Great place to bring young kids, older people looking for a nice walk through the woods. It was busy when I was there, but it was nice to see so many families out enjoying the day together."
"This park has much to offer. From trails to creek corners, picnic areas and secluded area, it is quite charming. On a Saturday afternoon it was busy but not overwhelming. About 0.2 miles up the road there is a cute castle and a bit further the bear creek trail starts. Although I didn’t try other trails, this one is great. It is a bit challenging as I gains over 600ft in the first 1.5 miles, but it offers great views and is well maintained."
"The most beautiful hike I have ever taken, my friend knew every plants name. I ate wild boysenberries, wild onion, and picked choke cherries. You can take flat hikes right next to the river or go up more steep terrain for the more experienced hiker..The river is so beautiful and blue unless it rains then it will turn brown for about a day due to rain running off."
"The place is nice and the trails are well kept. Great place for families to get in a nice hike. We took our two year old and he loves it. He will walk the entire trail and loves the views, wildlife, and plants. Will be back many times to come."
