"Bill in the bike repair section was super helpful when I brought in my bike that I left outside for a year. He looked at the problems I had with the bike and explained it very well, and then was kind enough to make some great suggestions on what I should do moving forward. Bill seemed very knowledgeable on bikes, he instantly knew what was up with my bike. He also had great customer service because he was really friendly to myself, and everyone around him. "Big thank you to Ethan and the team! I have been looking for my first gravel bike and had a friend recommend University Bicycles. I did my research ahead of time as I live two+ hours away and had emailed to make sure the bikes I was looking at were built to test ride and received a response immediately. When I went in, Ethan got the bikes I wanted to try out and when I had chosen the one I wanted to purchase he walked me through some of the accessories I needed/wanted and was great to work with. My bike was checked over very quickly before I left and everyone we interacted with was extremely kind and helpful. Will definitely be back for services and future bike purchases."

"University Bicycles is the single BEST place to rent a bike in Boulder. They are polite and professional. The second I walked through the front door I was greeted and helped out. Nolan made sure my rental bike was perfect and gave me suggestions on where to go. Their hours are 10am-7pm Monday-Friday. 10am-6pm on Saturday. 10am-5pm on Sunday. Definitely check them out! 5/5 stars!"

"Hats off to Doug and his team at University Bicycles! I was visiting Boulder during a busy holiday week and reserved a Yeti SB120 for a 3-day rental. What a wonderful experience. The entire process was seamless. From walking in the front door, being directed to the rental counter, setting the bike up for me and giving me suggestions for local rides - everyone was friendly, available and taking extra care to assure I was happy. I had a blast on the trails (I only wish I had had more time) and had zero issues with the bike. I’m looking forward to my next visit to Boulder!!! (BTW, they have a 24-hour vending machine outside the store if you need bike-related stuff during their off-hours)"

"I have been an avid cyclist all my life and have been in my share of bike shops. While in Boulder a cycling Mecca I figured visiting a bike shop was in order. University Cycles did not disappoint. They had a collection of vintage bicycles that would rival a museum. When we return in the Spring and Summer we’ll rent bicycles. Their selection was mind numbing and their staff attentive. I especially loved the vending machine with tubes and other essentials for after hours repairs."
