"Up charge city… we were seeing this dentist for a few years while we were living in Arvada they always seemed to want to give us something additional: prescription mouthwash, fluoride treatments, numbing agents, etc. The “cleanings“ were always a little bit painful, they dug in pretty good. I figured that was just the way it was supposed to be, it had been a few years since we had been to the dentist, so it seemed logical. We recently moved away and found a new dentist. Their cleanings were thorough, but gentle. They did not dig in hard enough to need numbing agent. They did not recommend fluoride treatment, and when I asked for more mouthwash (because I preferred the prescription mouthwash over the store-bought), he said no problem and send it to our local pharmacy and I just found out that that mouthwash is 100% covered under our insurance. Bright now dental charged us $30 per bottle and they prescribed it to both my husband and I. Scam? Yeah…"
"As a regular customer, my recent visit has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. Despite being punctual, I had wait for over 40 minutes past my appointment time. To add insult to injury, another patient, who arrived after me and had a later appointment, was called in ahead of me, leaving me feeling disregarded. Attempting to seek clarification on the delay, I inquired about the expected wait time, only to be met with vague responses and a lack of proactive measures to address the situation. Without any reassurance or timeline provided, I made the difficult decision to leave without receiving the routine service I had scheduled."
"The worst dental experience I've ever had. I don't know if the hygienist was simply in a hurry (only one hygienist at this location and she only works 2 1/2 days per week), or just not proficient at her job. There was no systematic approach to my cleaning. In all my years of going to the dentist, the hygienist will typically start on one side of the mouth and work their way through each tooth, but this hygienist skipped all around my mouth during her cleaning process- bottom middle, top right, bottom left, top left...the process was so random, I wasn't sure how she was keeping track of what she had or hadn't done. Not only was there no rhythm to the cleaning, she was very rough. I moaned, grimaced , and said "ow" several times, but the rough treatment persisted. She kept telling me to open wider, but my mouth was open as far as it could go. I could feel her pulling on my cheeks and lips with the mirror trying to open it wider than physically possible. She had suction hanging from my left cheek and as she was hurrying through her tasks, she rested her hand on the suction to the point where I ended up gagging as it pushed into the back of my throat. When I raised my hand to stop her and said I was gagging, she said I could remove the suction, but that it would be difficult for her to see my teeth if they had saliva on them. I almost got up from the chair at that point, but she told someone outside the room she'd be done in less than 5 minutes, so I figured I could make it through. At the end of my cleaning, I looked in the mirror in the office and my gums were actively bleeding and very sore. I floss daily and this was a routine cleaning, so bleeding gums should not have occurred to the extent they were. My old office never left me in such bad shape. On my way home, my teeth didn't feel clean. I inspected my mouth with a dental mirror and flashlight at home and saw there was still tartar on several of my teeth, as well as bleeding holes in my gums where I had been poked with the hygienist's instruments. So not only did I endure the painful process, my teeth weren't even clean. This was my first experience with this office and as someone who already has some anxiety around the dentist, I was left holding back tears as I left the office and told them I would be finding a new provider. I give zero stars for the dental care, but I do appreciate Emma in reception who said she would be sure my insurance was not billed so I can go get a cleaning in another office since my teeth still need attention and I cannot willingly put myself back into the hands of the hygienist here. **UPDATE as of 11/16** I went to another dental office and was told that my teeth did not look like they had been cleaned only 2 weeks prior "unless you didn't brush your teeth for 2 weeks." The new dentist also said that I have a cavity; the dentist at Bright Now! said I had zero, though she didn't actually touch my teeth, so not surprising she missed it when she simply looked in my mouth and said "no cavities.""
"Assistant Krystal and Dr. KimLee did such a great job. With having high dental anxiety they really did good job and work good together. Overall they are a great team. I am glad I found them. I am very happy with the work that I got done. I appreciate them for getting me in, the whole office atmosphere is welcoming! I will definitely be recommending this office to my friends and family!"
