"My FAVORITE hike ever, what a dream! Not crowded mid October, beautiful views, fun rocks, and clear-ish trails."
"Do not miss this stunning area in Garden of the Gods. Requires a moderate hike up to see. The views are break-taking and amazing photo ops. It's a bit off the beaten path. So a little less people. Worth your time and energy!!"
"It's one of my favorites. I've been coming here with my husband for years, and now I bring the kids too. It was very busy but that's to be expected. The views are amazing. I enjoy the hike every time, and I always see so much wildlife. Would recommend."
"Well marked and kept trail. It’s an incline but not terrible. There are steps along the way on the trail. Nice for those of us not used to navigating rocks. Also pretty short walk. The view of Pikes Peak is pretty cool! Especially since we came from there."
"This is popular so it was somewhat crowded. We waited about 15 minutes in the parking lot to be able to get a spot. This is a short little looping trail that you can start on either end of the parking lot. There's a moderate climb, but the trail is well maintained with steps and it's also well marked. We came across a group of approx twelve on horseback, which was pretty neat. However, do be aware of horse droppings. The views and rock formations are awesome. You can enjoy different birds such as the magpie. There are various wild flowers, but beware of the cactus just off the trail. They do have beautiful yellow and pink flowers."
