"Love this quiet expansion neighborhood park. Always clean and well kept."
"Usually quiet during off school hours. Charter school backs up to it and uses it as their field for sports. Doesn't usually interfere with anything you'd want to do. Park is nice, has swingset, lots if slides and cool things to play on. Newer equipment on playground. Great place to let your dog run, as there is a giant concrete arena towards the north end. Easy to keep and eye on your dogs and children."
"This park used to be the homestead of "Cowboy Lew." He would ride over to my kids' elementary school with his faithful shepherd dog following. Most of his property was weeds, although he had a tiny home and a large round pen for his horses. I love that he has been remembered by this very nice setting in his park. The playground is more than adequate for our little neighborhood. The only thing missing is a big stone where his picture is engraved along with his story as a memorial."
"So I live near this park and its not as fun as it used to be but if you live near it and just want to get out and do something where you want a nice quiet invirorment then its a good place. Theres not alot of people that are there when I go. And the people in the neighborhood are nice."
"This park could be a nice neighborhood park, with a medium sized field. However, the playground is so run down, I can hardly call it a playground. First, there is no slide. There is just a dead end to the climbing structure, where a slide used to be. Thankfully they did put a makeshift fence up to prevent falling. There are a couple ways to climb up onto the structure, but one of the ladders was very deteriorated. The ground cover is pebbles, and part of the concrete perimeter is padded, where the structure overlaps the concrete. There is a steering wheel and a swaying bridge, and also a slider. There is not much else, however. It's a little playground to begin with, and since the only slide is missing and the structure is dated, it doesn't hold the interest of little ones for long. Luckily there are two regular swings that are still in good condition, which entertained us while we visited. I hope this park is on the list for the City of Arvada to update. Other parks in the area are much more entertaining."
