"My car got a flat tire. I called for a tow and they did amazing work! Would totally recommend them!"
"Clowns wanted 240.00 cash plus a 4 dollar per mile charge on top of that. To go less than 6 miles. I get needing to make a living, but to make it by ripping off others..... Not very professional. Absolutely would not recommend the call."
"We had such a wonderful experience. Our car died and not only did Tow2Go show up within an hour as they said, they also stopped to get oil to put in our car and gave us advice on what to do next. Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend."
"I was nonconsensually towed by this joy of a company. 1) They stated that cash is required, but conveniently forgot to mention that no change is provided on the multiple calls that I had prior to picking up my vehicle. Regarding my understanding of how ATMs work (dispensing funds in multiples of $20), I would venture to say that is why they charged $2 past a nice $20 increment. As I did not have a vehicle to go get change elsewhere, I was S.O.L. 2) When I discovered that my car was stolen/towed, I called them promptly around 9pm. They said I could pick it up for an upcharge of around $100 for 'after hours'. If you look at 100% of their marketing on their website, it ALL says 24-hour business. The person who towed me just didn't want to be inconvenienced. I'm not sure why it would've mattered. He was clearly awake and alert after JUST towing my car. 3) I was told that I would need to schedule a pickup time, but they couldn't schedule it for the following morning when I first called. I would need to call back the next day at 9 am at the earliest. Given that they don't have 'business hours', I called at 7am instead. Oddly enough, they were available for pickup. The man on the phone just felt like wasting my time. 4) They are legally allowed to charge me $138 since my vehicle is under 10k pounds + $50 for releasing it. Because I picked it up in under 24 hours, no storage fees can be charged for a private property tow. Somehow, and additional $74 was added in there for a 10 mile tow? I can't figure out their fees since they also failed to give me a copy of the bill. The man on the phone was rude when I first called, and he was rather unhelpful overall. I overpaid for the ransom of my vehicle, but sadly, I didn't have much of a choice at the time. It is a stressful event to be towed anyhow, and this company only made it worse. Until recently, the location of my vehicle was a non-enforced towaway zone when outside business hours. I was unaware of the property's policy change and was definitely illegally parked. That being said, this review is not intended to rate the experience of being towed (presumably always unpleasant), but to highlight the lack of communication, the inaccurate marketing campaign of a "24 hour company" with 'after hour' upcharge, and the unfortunate customer service that I experienced."
"Truck broke down in the middle of night and first wrecker company never came after 6 hrs. My insurance company contacted tow2 go and they were out quickly. They mentioned having a mechanic on site and I could tow it to their shop. I already had it towed to my hotel and figured the next morning since they were so very helpful, that I would continue using there business to tow and work on it once I got up the next day. It was mentioned if I used their towing company my issue with replacing the tensioner would be discounted if I used them to tow.... At that time it was roughly eastimeted with tow, approximately $250 for parts and labor, if I had them do the work. This was the main reason I had them tow it to their shop. There was other selections of tow companies that were much cheaper for the tow. I inquired a minimum of 3. Seeing as how I appreciated their willingness to get my family off the road and assist with bundling the expense was the basis of why I chose to use them when I called my insurance company for a tow. My insurance company was actually sending a different company out originally. But after explaining my satisfaction with tow 2 go I requested them. I already reached out to other companies in which general price as well for the mechanic work, were about 50$ cheaper. Due to my previous good experience with tow2 go over the night, I decided to pay the extra cost because I felt on the 200$ range for a tensioner, belt and hr labor was worth the previous service I experienced. After they towed to their shop we found the mechanic issue was actually a lot easier of an issue than expected, but then I received a quote after they towed it for over 400$...... Huge difference in price. When I go to check out my vehicle this afternoon I will check if they make anything right. IIf it is maderigjt I Aswill correct accordingly, for now my recommendation is go for the cheaper service provider. I recommend going else where if you need tow or mechanic work. The cost for a tensioner and belt is over priced for one hour of labor."
