"For starters I have lived in so many apartments in my life so I have pretty good knowledge about them. Looking for apartments in Iowa is not easy so maybe this will help lessen stress. Mariah is very respectful, patient and kind. She has been very helpful with all of the issues in the apartment. Maintenance is also nice and they take care of stuff fast. The apartments themselves are not taken care of at all. The toilet seats were covered and stained with pee, there are spots almost all over the walls the doors and the doorframes, there were spider webs right outside my balcony door and I’m very allergic to spider bites, there was crumbs all under the stove and fridge and now my washer is leaking water and nobody can fix it until tomorrow. The only problem here is a cleaning issue which will be in most apartments which is an issue that owners have to take care of but won’t spend money on a cleaning crew. It is unfortunate that they won’t because the apartments are very nice and in a great location. With that being said, thankfully they did fix everything very fast. I do recommend living here i just had the luck that a man was living here before me."
"I would not recommend this apartment at all. While I was living here, I would file requests that were not handled until multiple inquiries, and the landlord basically told me that she did not care about my complaints and that they would not be handled. She allowed a co-tenant to make decisions for our apartment without my approval. I got a lawyer and almost sued but decided to just move out instead. I was forced to move into a hotel for a couple weeks. If you must live here, READ THE LEASE THOROUGHLY. I can't stress that enough."
"I stopped in as I’m in the market for an apartment to rent within the next 2-3 months. These apartments look very nice based on the pictures but I wanted to actually see what they look like in person before signing a lease. I was told that they don’t do in person viewing and was told to look online at the pictures. Unfortunately, I’m not comfortable signing a 12 month lease for my two kids and I if I’m not able to see what one would look like in person. It should be noted that as of this writing there are 3 vacant units so it would make sense that one would be able to see a unit. Bummer."
"This is one of the best apartments I’ve ever lived at. The only reason we moved was to be closer to family. We had no issues with the property manager, they are very flexible if you want to end your lease early, and we even got our full security deposit back when we moved. I would definitely recommend living here!"
"I’ve had good experiences interacting with the apartment landlord Mariah and I would say the rent is priced fairly. These apartments were constructed within the last few years and the unit I moved into was in good condition. The kitchen appliances are fairly new models. Nothing fancy, but they work just fine. Bathroom is also nice. Nothing fancy as well, but modern looking. The only gripe I have is that the walls are a bit thin so occasionally you may hear muffled noise from your neighbors (I’ve had to learn to keep my level of noise down). The people I live around haven’t been a nuisance in any way though so this is a fairly minor gripe. Overall I’d say this is a very solid place to live if you’re searching for an apartment on the north side of Cedar Rapids."
