"I rented a suite weeks before my arrival. The day of arrival the receptionist called me to tell me the room was taken by the “owner” and offered me a different room. The room was dirty, and had leftover coffee grounds from the previous customer in the coffee pot. But clearly - customers are not a priority if the owner arrives and stays in already reserved rooms. And I was still expected to pay full price for a room I didn’t initially want. Eating dinner on the floor on the coffee table was great! The only person that was competent and professional enough to do their job was the receptionist."
