"I love Latoya & Chris. Super friendly & helpful. I like living downtown. My only issue are the elevators breaking down. Other than that it’s a good place to live"
"I’ve lived in the building for years.. Let me break it down. Yes occasionally someone spills a drink in the elevator or lobby floor. It’s not urine like the crazy lady said before. And It’s once in a while. I overlook it cause well it’s a big building and people can be messy. We all can. Unfortunately with that you’re gonna have the few that don’t pick up after themselves. When there is a mess it’s cleaned up pretty quickly. Those people that don’t clean up after themselves are everywhere. This building especially in the last couple years has improved immensely! It’s much cleaner than it used to be. Staff is amazing. I love living here. Take it from an actual tenant not some lady that was here visiting. When looking for a place, don’t rule out old Roosevelt."
"By far the worst apartment complex I've ever had to live in and work with!! All of the reviews are true, I wish I never moved in! It is overpriced / not organized / not clean and I'm STILL dealing with them a year after I moved!! I could go on but I wont, bottom line, do not move in this place, you're going to regret it. ** They do not answer the office phone, lock the office doors during regular hours and stare at tenants until they leave. Any passive aggressive undertones in your -we are here to help! -Message is an example of what tenants have to deal with. And YES it is extremely frustrating. Thank you for acknowledging that.**"
"I've lived in the Roosevelt for a little over three years now, and nothing has ever bothered me enough to want to give a negative review, nor has anything been so great that I'd want to write a positive one. However, in the past three months the conditions here have been enough to make me want to move out. The air conditioning was recently broken for almost a week an a half straight, and since then has been breaking down on and off for almost a month now. Its the middle of summer, and the temperatures in my apartment frequently reach 80+ degrees. There used to be a regular maintenance man, who would come in and fix any problem any day of the week and was highly appreciated. Now it seems as if we don't have one even during the work week. While living here has its perks with being close to restaurants, the highway, and lots of entertainment, having a bar downstairs and more in the surrounding area is sometimes a pain. Multiple questionable puddles, beer cans and trash in our hallways, elevators, and lobby make for a really gross living condition. Most people who move here know what kind of neighborhood their moving into, and while this isn't the fault of the Office staff, it says a lot about the people who live here and don't seem to respect their living space or anyone else. The few redeeming qualities about this place are the two managers here that are kind, and sometimes try really hard to accommodate everyone's problems, and the fact that rent (minus having to pay for a parking spot through park CR and cable/internet) is all inclusive with the utilities. If you're looking for an affordable and easy place to get into, the Roosevelt is a good choice. However if you want an apartment that is taken care of properly by the landlords, and is considered a quality and comfortable place to live, you might want to look somewhere else."
"I've only been here for 3 months, and I regret moving here. Right now, the AC isn't working. It's 90 degrees outside, 84 degrees in my apartment. Funny, considering the central air conditioning is why I chose to move here. I've complained to maintenance, but maintenance can't do anything about it. I feel the amount of time it's taking the refrigeration company to fix the AC is unacceptable. Maybe once the AC is working 100%, I'll change my mind, but right now I'm very unhappy and feel like I've wasted my money."
