"After getting our pet bearded dragon (Leroy) approved by the manager at the time of moving in (John), we get a call from the current manager (Rebecca Edwards) demanding us get rid of Leroy. She failed to look at our lease or talk with a higher up about the situation before calling us. It was only after we fought back and talked to her boss about the situation the we were told we were fine to have him. She never apologized for how she treated us and continued to pull games such as sticking a “move or else towed” sticker on my car a day before our lease was up and a month after we have stated to her we were moving out. We have had multiple conversations with other residents and workers of this apartment complex to which we found out we were not the only ones Rebecca was treating this way. My honest opinion about the place is if you are looking for a nice place to live with good management, look elsewhere. The apartment themselves physically are decent, but the manager is incompetent and completely unprofessional. Would not move here unless Rebecca is no longer managing. We have since moved to a nicer location where management cares not only for us but also our Leroy."
"Hallways smells of animal urine. The carpets in the hallways are so dirty you can barely tell the original color. People just leave their trash in the halls. After a good response from the landlords, the property hallways are back to looking amazing and the offending tenant has moved out. I'm happy to raise my review back up."
"This is quite a decent place to live at. The office staff is very friendly and also very good at her job. The living room is very big and open, and having your own small patio is nice, for when you need fresh air but you're too lazy to actually go outside. My favorite part is that they're very good at handling problems. Sometimes things break, it happens, and if its urgent they are at your door asap to help you out. It's also great that you are within walking distance to multiple food store and the 24 hour kum and go, not to mention the convenience of being walking distance to the Kirkwood campus if you are a student. If I didn't have to move to a different city for school, I would have definitely renewed my lease with them."
"I’ve lived here for about 3 years and have no complaints! My only reason for moving out was due to moving into a house. I enjoyed the apartment size, the fact that you’re able to make the apartment your own by painting, that you’re able to hang things on the wall and participate in monthly resident functions! Michelle in the office is just amazing! She’s great at her job and is a great landlord! I’d miss her but I know I’ll swing on by just to say, “Hi!”."
"I lived here for 2 years and the ONLY reason I moved was due to finances. In order to get my debt in order I had to compromise on quality. Otherwise, I would be still at Eagles Pointe. Best things: I loved the grounds, lots of green space and a dog run! You can actually take a walk around the complexes with your dog and not just be walking in a parking lot! In addition to that they have usually have a member of staff overnight to watch the grounds which made me a lot more comfortable walking the dog at night! The apartments themselves were beautiful, updated and well taken care of - only a little white. Last but not least Michelle, the property manager is the best dang manager I have met and I would know as I work for another Property Management Group and I have yet to meet someone so well balanced as a professional. She was always straight forward with me and at the same time made Eagles Pointe a home with her down to earth friendly nature. I know I took good care of my apartment and I knew Eagles Pointe would be fair in the return of my deposit and sure enough there was no problem at all. For a college student or whom ever the price might seem a little high compared to the neighboring complexes but the level of quality, comfort/security, and just feeling at home away from home is worth it."
