"In November I will have lived here for 2 years. I absolutely adored this place. Have had no issues until the last 3 months. We got new neighbors and we got cockroaches. Been calling the office multiple times say that pestkito will be out on said day. Said Dave comes around and they never show up. You will stay home from work to keep your animals put up For when they come through and they will never show up. I have called the office multiple times trying to get the situation and nothing ever comes from anything. I have a downstairs neighbor who calls the police on me every other day because I have kids. She called the police on me for my kids playing outside Her window. The office will not do anything about this, they will not do anything about my other neighbor who has had a broken down couch sitting outside their house for over a month. I have now wasted probably $50 or so in just cockroach control stuff.... Nest Is wanting $725 for a cockroach filled apartment. At first when Nest property management bought out our apartments I was super excited. They seem to be really excited about getting the property backup to Standards. Unfortunately for the last six months it has gone back downhill. I have called many times to have my air conditioner fixed, my bathroom floor fixed, and my kitchen sink fixed, I have called about the cockroaches coming from my neighbors. I have called about screens for the windows. So far nothing. I called corporate office in iowa city and was promised that it would be fixed by the end of last week. Well here I am writing this review, obviously they can't keep a promise Edit: I was asked not to renew my lease which I hadn't planned on anyway due to me calling them too much over the maintenance that needed to be done(I called once a week)(and was told it would be done next day). I had made arrangements to move and was told the reason I was being asked not to renew was because of complaints. We had been working with them for 8 months over my downstairs neighbor calling the police on my kids being loud at 6pm.... or 12pm.... I always communicated with them and had been 100% patient with them. They will also close out ur maintenance requests online without actually doing them. I DO NOT RECOMMENDED. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE. Since i originally posted in July (now Nov) I moved out in August and found a much better place that actually fixes the things in the apartments. Save yourself the headache and do not move here."

"My family lives here and I know they have issues with bed bugs and roaches as well as people knocking on doors all the time that shouldn't be. (My issue with right now is they HAVE NO HEAT) it's cold outside and they have no heat and are raising the rent by $250 and can't even provide HEAT for the PAYING tenants"

"Hands down one of the worst places to live besides incircle. Drunks everywhere. Homeless everywhere. 20 people in 1 unit. Loud at all hours. People thinking they can knock on your door for drugs."

"It's ok my fiance lives here, I frequently come to visit. So far haven't had any problems with roaches/ bed bugs. It gets pretty loud with the traffic, but I work with it. Seems pretty peaceful outside of traffic, but maybe we just have one of the best spots. This place isn't for everyone since people mention of dangerous activity around this arena. The main issue here is there's "zero" heat. You'll have to use the oven to even make a slight difference. Although Luckily I have lots of blankets."
