Valley Acres Apartments

"Excessive noise from neighbors due to hollow floors and walls. Been living here since July and haven't slept past 4:30 AM since I moved in because the people above me have a recliner in their living room which is directly above my bedroom. Management refuses to do anything about it. Front door had obviously been broken through before and the door jam was rotten, allowing rain to come right in. To get it fixed had to report them to the city inspector. They replaced it with a new door and frame but I'm still getting water under the brand new door and can see light between the door and frame..... So not properly installed. I've missed 4 days of work because of lack of sleep, rented a motel just so my daughter and I could sleep more than 5 hours and was told by Metro Property Management to get ear plugs and figure it out because the owner wasn't going to do anything. It pretty much says that they know how loud it is and knowingly lie as well as rent properties unfit for their intended use. I'm about to lose my job because of being unfit to drive because in three days I was able to only sleep 7 hours. Retaliation from the maintenance man by not making repairs is something he finds funny which is why I had to contact the city inspector office after waiting several weeks for repairs. He'll work on your car if he likes you but won't fix your apartment unless you make sure he likes you and complaining about the noise and conditions means he doesn't like you because he has to actually work."

"1. My apartment needed a lot of maintenance. 2. Despite having quiet neighbors above me, I could hear every word they spoke and every step they took across the floor... Oh, and their alarm clock became my alarm clock. Yippee! For those reasons, I can't recommend this place."

"I lived at there 7500 Building for almost 3 years. Very quiet, Its tucked away behind a quiet residential neighborhood. There maintenance guy is always on top of things, like keeping the parking lot cleared during the winter or taming your wild venetian blinds. There Property manager is professorial, efficient, and friendly she truly cares about her tenants. Rent is reasonable the buildings are older but in good shape for there age. Venture Management LLC is the management company and has always been helpful when ever I had a question or issue. If you like the Blank Park Zoo you're in luck, its within walking distance!"
