"Great maintenance guys and great property manager. They have taken care of me well when I need or have issues"
"Property management & maintenance are a really good team. They do their best to make tenants feel happy."
"My experience has been very positive here and communication has been superb. It is easy to complain about things but being a part of the solution, is key. When letting staff and management know of concerns, I have seen results. Our cold weather was a primary example. Water issues, pipes, snow removal, were all handled in a rapid manner. Salt at every entrance/exits has been awesome. Thank you to the manager, and the maintenance staff. You have a big job and I appreciate all that you do. I enjoy being a part of the Ashley Square community."
"This was an okay apartment. I lived there for a year and a half. This was my first apartment after college. The area was great and my neighbors were cool. I loved walking to Chick-fil-a on Saturdays. Packages are delivered to your apartment door and the doors to the apartment never closed all the way leading to stolen packages. I did have a package stolen once. The appliance are old. My dishwasher was dated back to 1982 and my air conditioning quit working during the whole month of July. My apartment got to an unlivable temperature. The maintenance crew gave me a mobile window unit, but it still sucked and I slept on my couch next to it or at a friends house. I had a couple decent door dings added to my car from the parking lot as well. The apartment had a lot of space and the carpet was really soft. The hallways smelled a bit like smoke and other weird smells, but not in the apartments. Never had problems with noisy neighbors but sometimes heard music on the weekends from neighbors which never bothered me because it was pretty quiet and I played music too. They have real wood fireplaces which I thought was interesting. There seemed to be a wasp problem and there was always huge wasp nests near one entrance that was only taken care of at the end of the summer. Also had some outside my balcony."
"The desk staff were completely incompetent, after MULTIPLE staff changes while I lived there. Anytime I had to deal with the front office was met with absolute frustration just due to how completely incapable these people were. You can never get a hold of them, they have extremely poor communication skills, they leave the office at free will to do whatever without giving notice to residents. Consistently lost, or stole packages. Residents never asked for mail to be sent to the office, yet during Christmas time they forced all packages to be sent to the office but admitted they have NO system for keeping packages safe. After tearing apart the room where the packages were and not finding a package that was said to be delivered to the office, I was basically told I was SOL and they refused to help me. I went to the post office where the supervisor provided me with evidence that it was indeed delivered to the office. After a couple days, my package was “mysteriously” found in the room with all the packages. (Very suspicious) They offer residents NO breaks and try to enforce their strict rules yet the garages leak, people throw trash in the hallways and use them as bathrooms, nobody picks up their dog poop, the office doesn’t empty outside dog trash or refill with dog bags. Building interiors/exteriors and garages are consistently graffitied. Water damage is prevalent throughout the building and the walls are crumbling. The locks on the outside doors break constantly so there is a severe lack of safety. The elevator hasn’t had anyone come look at it since around 2019. I was told I’d have a washer and dryer when moving in, did not receive one and was told I wouldn’t get one (this was a big reason for choosing Ashley Square too!). AC went out for 3+ months during the 100+ degree summer, only got $300 off one month. Received notices to enter the apartment less than 24 hours in advance. It was better to just ask the maintenance people for help rather than go through the office because nothing got done if you went through the office, if you could find them running around the apartment grounds. My smoke detectors broke multiple times and the only fix was to add a new battery, which never worked. I left my apartment with zero working smoke detectors because I gave up asking for them to be fixed. In the end I had to leave my keys on my counter, and a lovely voicemail to the office because they decided to go on a weeklong break WITHOUT notifying any residents or posting any signage in their office window :^) don’t live here, or do if you want to torture yourself."
