"Would not recommend. You get what you pay for. It’s cheap but there’s a reason why. Management is no bueno. They implemented a rule that you can’t have guests, or at least have your guests park on your street. No guest passes system is crazy. I had my truck broken into at least 10x. Motorcycle stolen twice. I requested handles on the cabinets and that was too much to ask for (probably $20 in hardware). Car was on a “no tow list” and they towed it made me pay to get it back. Homeless around nightly. Apartments were run down and in poor condition. Everybody gets some level of roaches, I had a lucky place and only got them about once a month er so. Neighbors would get them every week/multiple times a week. If all that didn’t deter you, I never felt unsafe. It also is very convenient for school and having a whole lot of greenery around. Upd is better then metro."
"DO NOT LIVE HERE! The plumbing is bad the kitchen and bathroom floods. The gate I pay for doesn't work ever and we are in a high crime area. Hole in my wall they haven't fixed since I moved in and my oven doesn't work. ROACHES! no updated appliances. If you're ready to be nickled and dimed or find a fee for literally anything that they can come up with this is your place. Meanwhile their apartments are severely underkept and are about as expensive as a studio across the street. If you have a issue with anything they'll be sure to turn it back into your problem. They don't take accountablity or fix anything unless it's in their favor of course. After paying a “green fee” every month I called them to let them know that they should maitnence THE WASHERS THEY HAVE ON THEIR PROPERTY. And they told me to call the washer company MYSELF. So their washers that are 2$ a load smell like mildew and they don't really care about that. Theirs cracks in my walls. They make you sign paperwork that doesn't apply to you. Just expect about 50$ of extra fees on top of your rent that doesn't include utilities. These are college students but they suck them dry anyway. Every time I've had an issue with the office they've done 0 about it and flipped it back on the tenant."
"Don't do it. The price is tempting, I get it, but it is truly not worth it. I paid an additional $100 per month to live in the gated portion of the community where the gate worked maybe 20 days my entire lease. Move in day, I picked up my packet and my keys just to get to my apartment and the keys not work. So I had to go back to the leasing office to get someone from maintenance to re-key the lock. As this is happening, the door opens from the inside as the cleaning crew was still cleaning the apartment (for no reason might I add because my roommate and I did another deep clean and it was still disgusting). My toilet stopped working one day so I called for maintenance to come. 10 minutes later I get a text that my work order has been completed, yet no one from the maintenance team had come. They also don't seem to do any sort of pest control, at least I have never seen a pest control truck around the neighborhood, so there are constantly roaches. In the winter, they find their way in to be warm and in the summer they find their way in to be cool, so there is no point in the season where they aren't creeping their way in."
"DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! I’ve lived in 2 units in 2 different buildings and there’s been a cockroach infestation in both places. - The maintenance team is horrible. - Don’t live on the gated side, you’ll pay $100 extra a month for the gates to not be working 80% of the time. First day I moved into a new unit and building my AC was broken. Temperature was 80+ degrees in the apartment. The maintenance team just pushed me aside for a month saying it’s because i kept the temperature set too low and i was overworking the unit. I kept it set at 72… After a month of threatening to get a lawyer involved (because they legally have 48 hours to fix an AC issue when it’s over 100 degrees outside) they finally said “Oh sorry, we were looking at the wrong AC unit. Your vent system was completely clogged.” My bill for that month in electric was over triple what i pay monthly now, because the unit was overworking trying to hold temperature. I was never reimbursed for the inconvenience. Don’t even get me started on the leasing office team ethier. Super Unprofessional. I feel sorry for the students that work there that have had to hear me complain so much because it’s not their fault. But, the lead management team is a joke. Please save yourself the time and stress of living here."
"I am the current resident in Legacy. It is a nice apartment, quiet and close to UNLV campus. Not too many equipment but comfortable. If you are looking for a cheap and high quality apartment, here is a good choice. If you are looking for a resort style apartment, maybe not your first choice."
