"Our initial greeting was pretty disappointing at the front desk. She was cold and very unwelcoming. Not a good first impression at all’ Once we got to our room though we were happy. It was large, with a small kitchenette, although a bit dated and worn. For a quick trip it was great. We could walk to the Bellagio and Cosmopolitan quickly and easily."

"I was happy with Vdara on day one. Tub & room is relatively nice. Housekeeping is friendly. Then came days two & three... had to call for housekeeping because no one had been in our room and we discovered our shower was terrible (low water pressure & a science project growing in our shower floor). Then check-out, when I learned we were charged a $50 daily "resort fee." I asked what amenities were included in our "resort." I was told "printing & a business center." That's what constitutes a resort, ladies & gentlemen. Our receptionist had no idea why Vdara charges a resort fee because there are zero resort amenities other than those that charge a zillion for their services. The lobby market was a complete joke. Canned drinks for as much as $16! That's more than most lounges charge for a real cocktail. The nice tub wasn't worth being ripped off at every other turn. Maybe three-stars is too generous. Bye-bye, Vdara."

"Beautiful hotel! Was upgraded for free to a huge suite with 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and laundry room for our 4 night stay. Was great to stay in a hotel without a casino but be so close to so many casinos within a few minutes walking distance. Great location in the middle of the strip!"

"Vdara is a beautiful hotel. We came with our two boys, so the suite set up and no casino made things comfortable for us. The staff is excellent and very helpful - I used valet, room service, the spa and gym - and there was consistently good service. Breakfast options in the lobby are expensive, but this is the Strip, so expect that. Definitely planning to return."

"Room was beautiful. Great price for what you get. There was an issue with the water being out for an hour so they comped us $125. It wasn't that big a deal, but they went above and beyond to reconcile the issue. Lobby smells amazing and unlike other hotels didn't, it didn't have that casino smoke smell."
