"This place is life threatening unsafe. It’s a nightmare living in the complex. A guy just broke into my bedroom through the patio door early in the morning at 6:30 am. I called the security afterwards and they didn’t even bother to come check in. I am trying hard to break my lease not being able to do it. Guys be very careful don’t rent from here. Their mailbox gets stolen all the time as they don’t protect it. My debit card got stolen from my mail multiple times and I lost all my money from the bank. There are homeless people living next to us in a vacant unit. Please do yourself a favor and don’t move here."
"I came in to get assistance with resident portal I was unable to pay my rent. The system is hard to navigate on your own. They kinda just threw it on everyone. Lexi was the one to kindly assist me with how the portal works. So thank you again"
"So I just moved here this week. I already feel extremely unsafe. I want to break my lease. There is an extremely rude leasing agent. The place is filthy and honestly needs to be shut down. The health department needs to know about this place. Scorpions all in in my apartment. They did spray however there’s tones of openings in side my apartment and outside my door the pest control pointed out. I have to get everything sealed. I can’t even sleep at night due to fear and having to watch my back . The ceilings in the hall coming down. These apartments need to be tore down and built back up. That’s the only way to fix the real issues here instead of putting a bandage over the problem. The apartment that they showed me is nothing like what I thought I was getting. 9/12/2023 UPDATE I put my 30 day notice in for the 2nd of September. I asked Isabel if she wanted to do a walk through before i left she said no just to take pictures which I have all in email. I moved September 2nd like promised I have receipts I was gone and in my new place. I caught covid right after so I wasn’t able to return my key so they charged me for 5 days that wasn’t living there. I told them I have proof I wasn’t living there as my new place has camera and video footage you can’t even get in without being recorded so I’m ready to take this to court for making me pay when I wasn’t actually living at there. I’m so glad I’m gone from this place.right before I left some random person that didn’t live there started a big fire very dangerous to live here. I had an old apartment rusted toilet very bad place to live. Don’t bring your kids there it’s not safe. Scorpions and now rats are there and it was on the news."
"This place has been a nightmare from the beginning. We thought we’d be able to live with the less than ideal location and gross hallways because the inside of the unit appears to be nice. Not the case, things break constantly. The maintenance team takes their time (days and days) before fixing anything. More often than not I have to harass the people in the office to get results. Our water has been shut off a number of times for a leak- usually without notice (we live in the 3rd floor). We always have to be the one to alert them of their terrible work. Please see my photos of maintenance’s terrible work. Not to mention the broken gate which has an alarm on it to alert that it’s broken (?) that goes off every 90 minutes or so at all hours sometimes waking us up. Then there are the ladies in the office who clearly are not concerned with the tenants complaints once they’ve signed a lease. Beyond that there is Westland as a company who have called me directly for surveys and shrugged off my complaints. The company culture for Westland Properties is apparently apathy. They could not care less about the disgusting apartments with lead paint, broken appliances and broken EVERYTHING. If nothing else, I hope that I can save others from living in this community. We made the mistake to save money to buy a home. This living situation is not worth it."
