"They’re lovely people, WHEN they’re open and/or answer their phones. Before Christmas we discovered our RV gate broken. Put in a service request in the website. I know they got two quotes on repairing it, it was holidays so I get the delay. It’s Feb 6th. Husband has left a voicemail asking, as well as stopped by during business hours to find the office locked. I just stopped by today and again, office locked. Left a voicemail again, at 9:40. I literally saw the receptionist through the blinds. Again, lovely people when you actually see/talk to them."
"Shirley Ray is a unprofessional theft. I never took position of the home and within a matter of 5 days I informed due to unforeseen circumstances the perspective property would not compliment the needs of my family. Shirley Ray is refusing to give me my Security Deposit back citing the owner has experienced damages due to loss of revenue on the property. Even though I attempted to speak with her in a dignified manner - Shirley Ray began to yell and scream at me on the phone and ultimately hung up on me only after continuously refusing to refund my Security Deposit. Shirley Ray should not be allowed to practice in this state or any other state. During my walk through of the home she disclosed to me she only had one other possible applicant and she was not going to call them back because that applicant did not have verifiable income, they worked for a friend's mother etc. etc. and so she decided to move forward with my application. Truly unprofessional!!! Not only that when she arrived to show the house, she had her sick mother in the car who waited outside which resulted in the home being shown in a rush. I will be filing a complaint with the Nevada Real Estate Division, the Office of Consumer Affairs with the Nevada Attorney Generals Office, the BBB of Nevada and pursuing legal actions immediately!"
"GTS Properties in my opinion should have their license revoked and not be allowed to operate in the State of Nevada or anywhere else for that matter. In July 2016, the Nevada Real Estate Division found that Ms.Ray submitted false documents to the Division and was sanctioned with a fine. This is public information and can be verified by contacting Nevada Real Estate Division. I have had to file numerous complaints with the State. You want to stay clear of this business !"
"I would like to start off by saying that I will not be renewing my lease with this company and I will be more than happy to share why. And just so you know I've only been in my condo for only close to a couple months. Pretty sad. From the beginning Shirley and GTS Properties have shown little compassion for what they do. Prior to signing our lease we were misquoted for our first months rent - no biggie I guess. On the day we signed our lease Shirley was late, you would think that a property manager would keep her clients informed. Nope. We had to call her office and question as to where she was. She stated that she had a mishap with her car and would be there in 30 minutes. Things happen but it is proper etiquette to inform your clients. So she finally shows up and as we are signing our lease she is talking to me and the other 2 people signing my lease as if we were stupid. We were extremely offended by this. And to top it off some of the things she was talking to us about she didn't even have the proper information on it. Prior to moving in we were told that it had been cleaned and the carpets had been shampooed as well. Ha, not even. Carpets had stains (I just had to redo them myself), we found a paintbrush in one of the closets, blinds were disgustingly covered in dirt, and the bathrooms - don't even get me started. Not to mention we had a good page or more of things that needed to be notated and/or fixed. Shameful. Absolutely absurd that a property is not FULLY inspected, cleaned, and repaired prior to it being occupied. My biggest gripe is there complete lack of follow up. When we moved in we had several maintenance workers come to inspect the repairs we listed and they had to get approval prior to performing any repairs. Seriously? It has been about a month since and we just barely got our kitchen sink fixed. I had had to follow up on my own - countless phone calls, multiple voicemails, told I would receive a call back (ha, no!), and sent multiple emails to Shirley herself and I didn't receive anything until I (of course) had to call again! Not to mention I was informed that I shouldn't have sent my emails to Shirley but to an alternate email (that I was not made aware of) because apparently she doesn't check it everyday. Obviously she doesn't check it at all because I still haven't received any response from her and I sent that over 3 weeks ago. As stated, their follow up is nonexistent!!! The only ones I can not fault are Rodney and Carla, they have actually been helpful. When our a/c went out I called their "emergency" number. Yea. Some help that was. She replied "well since the office is closed we will dispatch someone in the morning." Then why have an emergency line? And guess what I had to do all the next day? Babysit and call them to make sure our a/c was fixed. We called 8pm the prior night, it got up to 96+ degrees in our condo and wasn't fixed until 2pm and we have animals. Ridiculous. I work in guest relations and I understand how important follow up and response time is, so this truly frustrates me. I never write reviews because I deal with them all day at work but I don't want anyone else dealing with the level, I'm sorry complete lack of, service that I have. I absolutely do not recommend renting from this company and will never rent from her again. UPDATE! : Shirley can not reply to the emails I sent quite a while ago but can take the time to send me community violations of rules and restrictions that I was NEVER informed about. Per the HOA GTS Properties was SUPPOSED to provide me with a copy of the community rules. That never happened HA."
"Our experience with Shirley Ray and GTS Properties has been nothing but difficult from day one. We understand property management and how they really are in place to work for the home owners but that does not mean that they should not have to follow rules too. The biggest issue we have had is the lack of follow up on multiple issues we have had in the home. Exposed wood in bathrooms due to water damage, no water for a period of time, no yard service for months that is in our lease, broken items inside the home and outside that were never attended to even after phone calls and emails. In addition a promise to reimburse us for what we have paid for and then never following through. Even if the homeowner was not interested in fixing issues, there should be some responsibility on the property management team to return phone calls or emails. Often times Shirley has tried to tell us that if we did not attend to items we would be negligent tenants. The worst part of our experience is that Shirley is just simply not a kind person or considerate of others hard work. She uses fear based management on her tenants and especially if she feels in the wrong. Luckily we have kept tight records of every issue and correspondence with her and I suggest any person working with her and her team do the same. We have finally left the home after 2 and half years due to the horrible experience with her. Even at our final walk through her staff was over and hour and half late, showed up and smelled of liquor. My final thought is here we are over a month after moving out and still have nor received our deposit, we have tried calling three times over the past week and to this point have not received a phone call in return. James"
