"If you work from home, don’t move here. If you have more than one car, don’t move here. If you don’t want your conversations heard by your neighbors, don’t move here. If you want to live somewhere where it feels clean, luxurious, and safe, don’t move here. If you don’t want to be charged for every little thing, don’t move here. If you have a dog, don’t move here. I’ve lived here for about 2 years now and went through change of management about 3 different times and the quality has continued to go down hill here. I’m sure from reading the other reviews on here you are aware the parking situation is ridiculous so I won’t delve into it further. The blaring fire alarm goes off more often than any other apartment I’ve ever lived at making it terrible to work from home especially for someone that has multiple meetings a day and also unsafe for those with medical conditions that are sensitive to blaring sounds and older residents/ pets. The lack of immediate communication when issues like this arise is also troublesome. The walls are extremely paper thin here and I constantly hear everything that happens in the apartment above me and adjacent mine which is not pleasant to say the least. Also our living room and bedroom lights are controlled by another unit, I’m assuming some issue with the wiring. We have tried to get this issue resolved multiple times and it has yet to be completely fixed so we either have the pleasure of being rudely awaken by the bright room light in the middle of the night or sleep without the use of our ceiling fan. When the Pooprint program began I was optimistic that it would stop the feces found in and around the building and it did to a point but what I didn’t not expect was to be fined for them finding by dogs feces on the property. It’s important to note at the time I wasn’t walking my dog on the property because other residents were not leashing their dogs which caused for a dangerous situation. When I asked where they found the feces they could not provide me that information. Other then the waste bins that are marked for pet waste disposal there was no way my dogs feces could be found on the property. As for safety, that was my primary reason for moving into this building because there appeared to be multiple layers of security but as time went on side gates and doors were propped open for anyone to enter the property. Nonresidents could be found in the common areas, the gym or aimlessly wondering the halls unaccompanied by an actual resident. And security was no where to be found. The list could go on but I digress this apartment has the potential to be the luxury complex it advertises to be but a lot needs to be fixed to get there."
"We toured the Keller Cactus Hills property on a Saturday and I feel the leasing agent either didn't have time or didn't really want to show us the property. Although we had a scheduled appointment to see both 1 br and 2 br apartments, we only saw one style of the 2br and was told that's all they had available to show. We spend through the property and didn't really get to see all the amenities nor did all of our questions get answered."
"Beautiful building from the exterior, and I was impressed with it when my friend first moved in. But now, after months of being here and visiting, I can tell this place has gone down hill big time. Where do I start... First to go to visit you have to have a text from the resident to "invite you" with a gate code. That's cool for more security. But first you have to figure out where to park! There's only maybe 30 or so parking spaces for guests of the entire building!! All other spaces outside of the complex are reserved for the retail places in front of the building, and if you park there your car gets towed which will cost you several hundred to retrieve. Pretty sure the owners of the building also own that land and retail leases from them. Why you say?... Huh, because they utilize the majority of available parking for retail, but you as a tenant can " Lease a covered parking space" for your guests at an additional cost of course!! Wth... for the amount you pay to rent here there shouldn't be the nickel and diming for extra money. Next, the upkeep is horrendous. Walking through the property, the paint looks used and dirty in areas. The air filters are filthy, one the elevators malfunctions and keeps opening the doors on the same floor and not moving. Again, looks luxury, but definitely not what you'd expect. Looking out on to neighbors patios, get ready for the junk, and dirt/dripping paint marks from the patios. Definitely nothing of what this place should be. The construction is not very sound proof at all. You can sometimes hear your neighbors through the walls, and definitely can hear your upstairs neighbors walking. The water pressure as well is low, and certaintly takes a while for the faucet to get hot water. The pool area is at least beautiful I guess, and the hallways at least smell nice. BUT think before you sign on this one. For the price and supposed "high end feel" that's definitely not what you're going to get. The interior of the units are very modern and loftish if you will which is beautiful. But you can't just live inside your unit with the shades down and ear plugs in... I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. They've definitely gotta do better. Even a food deliverer got frustrated and just left someone's food outside the gate. Wow"
"If you want to end your lease on time, you need to give a 60-day written notice OR pay $2800+ to buyout your lease that already ended, or get an eviction on your credit report. The rates listed are before the $145 monthly lifestyle fee, $15 monthly package locker charge, and all the other monthly charges you’re nickled and dimed for. They charge you a $175 cleaning fee to move in and a minimum of $110 cleaning fee to move out. If you or a guest gets their car towed, it’s $400, and you have to go all the way to North Las Vegas to retrieve it. There’s a first floor resident who lets their dogs defecate on her patio. It’s an awful sight to pass by, nothing has been done. It’s been months. Someone vandalizes the clubhouse monthly. There’s no security personnel on property, so anything goes. I smell cigarette smoke from time to time from a neighboring apartment, even though this is a non-smoking building. Nothing about this place is spectacular. Management does the bare minimum. Maintenance can’t fix a lightbulb. Just a big money grab. You can’t count on anything at this property to be consistent other than the deterioration of the property. The 5 star reviews must be from people who just moved in, I’m sure they’ll be back to edit their reviews."
"Not one to ever post a negative review . But this apartment complex deserves 0 stars . If you’re thinking about moving here please don’t. There’s barely any parking spaces available and your car will be towed multiple times. It’s $400 each time to get your car back . The amenities are always broken down ( gym, coffee machine , elevators, etc) This place has turned into a dump and can’t wait for our lease to be over with. This review is with genuine intentions to let any future guest be aware of all this. For the premium price you pay at this complex, it’s anything but luxury."
