"Please don’t waste your time as as approvals are done by AI for $360. Im still waiting for someone to return my call regarding refunding the $300 to my new address which is not Sutton Place It has been almost 2 months and getting a hold of someone is impossible, and IF you do they never have the answer and states they will relay the message to management. Ummm still waiting. Currently waiting on the regional manager to return my call."
"only thing good i have to say is the leasing office took care of me when i went in person in a timely matter. other than that its been a terrible experience thus far. i moved in 11/15 they did forewarn me of the changes but not everything. first off i was told id get the bottom apartment i ended up with a top floor. no washer and dryer like i was told i got a “partial” renovated one with none with high baseboards that dont cover the ground for no insulation. water got shut off 11/22 so already no water and there is a boiler room that doesnt work in the winter!? how uncomfortable is that for us. not hot water!!!??? the leasing office said it never works in the winter and that people usually have to wait. calling the office is a drag you wont get ahold of nobody you have to go in the office or email them they have a rentcafe to pay rent that doesnt even work right now because they are in fact getting a new program and new management. how ironic so now were paying with money order that makes it more inconvenient. if i had more time i would have selected another spot to move in. angelica helped me out as much as she could but they cant do much over here unless they get help."
"Even though there wasn't an availability right now,for the size apartment I need. Angelica Martinez was very helpful, told me I need to check everyday to see when the unit I'm needing is available. I was impressed by how nice the staff is and the property is very clean and kept up. The units are extremely nice and good size. I will definitely be checking daily. I would love to be a tenant there. My service dog was also impressed,he is very picky.(lol)"
"I have been living in this property for many years, but the last administration is the worst that I have had to live here for many years. They cut off the water sometimes 4-5 times a month, one occasion we were almost two weeks with cold water, It's been almost a year now and they still haven't been able to fix their plumbing problem. Now since the first of September 2023 we are again with hot water problems and until today, September 5, they send an email that they just called the vendor to see what the problem is. They are renovating the apartments and from 7am until sometimes 10 at night, they are banging on the walls without caring about the tranquility of the residents They have no respect for the residents They only care about having their apartments ready to rent, without a doubt, I do not recommend this property to live in, the administration does not have any professionalism."
"I am currently in my 2nd lease term and have been through 2 owners of the property since moving in Oct of 2022. I read reviews prior to moving in and didn’t see many bad reviews and when I first moved in everything was fine and we didn’t have any issues. Since the change in property management there has been many issues and I am FED UP!! I don’t have any issues with the woman in the leasing office who are doing their job and have no control in certain situations but man when Ivan was here he made sure things got done! (Like my pest control request would’ve been taken cared of.) Let’s start with the water plumbing issues! The property has been undergoing water issues for damn near this whole year and we are still dealing with water issues. At first we went about 2 weeks with COLD WATER all while also dealing with the water being shut down every other day and last minute emails letting us know it’s being shut off. We still have a ton of water plumbing issues. They also will close the pool when they want especially when there are NON-RESIDENTS using our pool that get everyone kicked out. ROACHES!!!! Like I said for a few months since I moved in things have been fine but over the past month we’ve seen tiny baby roaches which indicate an infestation! I went to the leasing office 3 weeks ago bringing this up to Angelica and asking for a pest control spray! The pest control company only comes out on Thursday so I got out on the list. They don’t tell management when they are coming so Thursday came and I had to pick up my son from school and they didn’t spray because of my unattended dog (who was caged). I went to the office and spoke to Angelica again and she told me the reason so I wait another week and make sure I rearrange plans for my son to stay after school to make sure we get sprayed. Low and behold the pest control company DID NOT come to unit at all because of unattended dog! LIE they didn’t even bother knocking on the door and left the property for the day! Another issue is the maintenance crew guys being able to park in resident covered parking stalls and taking those parking from us residents. They also hang out in their trucks and play music loudly. I am a graveyard worker and my unit is right near their trucks so thats very unprofessional. Also use car cameras when you park your car in our lots because management isn’t responsible for the parking lot so if your car gets broke into like mine did they can’t do anything but say hey maybe put in a police report! I would like to live in a place that I pay for with my hardworking money COMFORTABLY and lately Sutton place has not been that! I am fed up with issues that involve my day to day living in a place I should feel comfortable because it’s my HOME."
