"Unfortunately, the recent reviews are not false. In October 2022 they approved my early termination after approving my orders. I recently discovered I have an open collections for "damages" and for 3 months I no longer resided in the home. No invoice was ever attempted to be sent to me and no one contacted me directly. Upon investigation, the home was rented out 2 weeks after my departure and renovations were made in the home. IE: Flooring upgrades and bathroom renovations. NRS 118.175 Liability of tenant. If a tenant of real property abandons the property, the landlord shall make reasonable efforts to rent it at a fair rental. NRS 118.185 Date of termination of rental agreement. If a tenant of real property abandons the property before the expiration of the rental agreement pursuant to its terms, the rental agreement terminates when: 1. The tenant provides the landlord with notice of the tenant’s intention to abandon the property, and the landlord accepts the surrender of the property; 2. The landlord rents the property to another tenant NRS 118A.242 Security deposit: Limitation on amount or value; surety bond in lieu of security deposit; duties and liability of landlord; damages; disputing itemized accounting of security deposit; prohibited provisions. (b) Repair damages to the premises other than normal wear and tear. (c) Clean the dwelling unit I have tried to contact both collections and the property management company with no luck on assistance. Id like to provide them an opportunity to rectify their issues and reach out to the collection agency and close the invoice before legal action is taken. The open collection is a DISCRIMINATION IN HOUSING between the LANDLORD AND TENANT. The state of NEVADA has statutes written to prevent LANDLORDS / PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANIES from taking advantage of TENANTS. It is against state law for a LANDLORD to charge a TENANT for 1. rent after the home was rented ie DOUBLE DIPPING 2. using security deposit to renovate the unit outside of wear and tear"
"WARNING If you are between the ages of 18-55 y/o you better tread lightly before applying at Pinewood Town Homes. I would like permission to express my Freedom of Speech, my Truth. This company was the start of destroying my rental credit worthiness. They have falsely added charges to some RENTAL database and my credit report for years. Upon my move out the ripped me off from my security deposit and said I owe them an additional $5k in damages. The collection agency has the audacity to add an additional $2k for there pocket. Making it impossible to rent. I have made ever attempt to resolve the debt from this company if they would simply be fair and adjust the balance due to the truth and bill me for what I actually owe them. These liars have reported that I owe them rent for months that I didn’t even live there. Keys that I absolutely returned, and damages that are trumped up to the max. According to them, I the renter only had 10 days to dispute any charges afterwards I needed to deal with the collection agency. Absolutely the biggest mistake of my life as a renter. This place is no place you would want to invest your hard earned money. Take the chance if you don’t believe me. Trust the reviews."
"I had moved to these townhouses because I was sick of apartments. Really, still shopping carts left around the grounds. The management there was pathetic. The property management / manager charged me for stuff when I moved out that they flat out lied about. I ONLY paid it because I was purchasing a house and it was easier to just pay it then deal with their crap. I would NOT recommend these townhouses AT ALL."
