"2/8 Update: We received a "Security & Crime Prevention" email, the gate on the Right front entrance is repaired & they've installed a mobile security camera. It might be helpful to have one on both sides of the complex. But I appreciate what's been done. 2/5 Update: CAUTION WHEN STAYING AT PROPERTIES OWNED BY WARMINGTON. 20+ cars broken into 2 separate times. Noting: This review is a reflection of the owners, Warmington Apartments. This review is not a reflection of the front office staff. We currently reside at The Solana Apartment Homes. We've been here for about a year and never had any incident happen like one this last weekend. My partner's car was one of 30+ vehicles that were broken into, inside the gates. When we toured the property we were told that there was onsite 24/7 security, armed. However, after living here & having to call multiple times, I've found out this isn't the case. The security company is on call (when they actually answer) & they take a significant amount of time to actually arrive. We're aware that in our contract, they're not liable for incidents like this. HOWEVER, The issue is when they tell us to take precautions to secure our property & fail to notify us when serious incidents occur like this. A similar incident happened around 1/20, where 20+ cars were broken into on the other side. The property management company or owners didn't notify us that there was an incident. Then a few weeks later it happened again on our side. Not to mention that the gates are faulty sometimes & left opened. The ONLY security cameras on the ENTIRE property are on the front building near the offices. So honestly we should all be parking there. It's extremely alarming that the owners(Warmington) had recently hired a new security company who was on site the morning that cars were broken into, and they shared that in their contract negotiations with the Warmington company they HIGHLY suggested more security measures & Warmington declined because they didn't want to pay the extra $ to offer more security. & the number of times security was going to be on site was only 3 times a day. You'd think if this incident happened more than once & at the nearby apartment complexes you'd do more to not only protect your property but also your residents? It's blatant that they are not concerned with security & safety. I'd almost rather you not advertise that you offer that when people are interested in signing a lease. If I could leave a separate review for the front office staff, I'd like to say that they have always been helpful to me when other issues have occurred. I genuinely feel heard and like they take action within their capabilities. Chyla & Courtney are always great to us. I love the monthly resident events they do for us. I feel that the facilities are always clean when we use them. I truly do appreciate them. ___________ Review from 4/2023 So far, my experience with Solana and the leasing office has been better than I could've I asked for! And we toured 4 places in one day and nothing matched the experience we had here. We literally started our tour day with Jody at Solana, went to tour other places and came back same day to apply. The moment my partner and I walked in we were greeted and made to feel like family. Jody was AMAZING. She had so much energy and passion about her job and it really sold the place. We were pleasantly surprised about the property, i personally think the photos don't do the place justice. Pros: -armed guard at all times -24 hr maintenance ON SITE -fitness center is clean with a variety of equipment -pool looked cleaned and maintained well -we toured the grounds and looked to be maintained well Cons(more so outside of Solona control): -next to freeway (not a deal breaker for us, but you really can hardly tell -area still in development stages. Looks like more food and stores are in the process of being built. BUT there's an ikea nearby!! Overall, we're really excited for our move and have high hopes about this property"
"This was my favorite apartment I’ve ever lived in! I’m an extremely light sleeper and I haven’t once gotten woken up due to noise issues, I might’ve just gotten very lucky to have quiet neighbors. The office was always very nice and accommodating especially when I needed an extension for my move out date. I would’ve stayed if I wasn’t moving in with my partner and needed a 2 bedroom instead of the one bedroom I was living in. I’m thinking about maybe moving back in after my lease is up since the apartment I moved to is not meeting my expectations."
"Solana was the perfect first apartment for me in Las Vegas. I only moved out because my boyfriend and I decided to move in together. It’s in a great, safe location - as a single young woman I was never scared for my safety. The units are new, clean, beautiful and functional. I loved that they painted an accent wall for me before I even moved in! The property is well maintained and equipped with top of the line amenities - a great pool. The area is fantastic with so much new development and new businesses popping up every day. Courtney Enriques in the management office is a gem!!! She is the reason I chose this place - from move-in to move-out she has been kind, accommodating, easy to communicate with and thoughtful. I wish there were more people like her out there!"
"Been here for 5 months and we love living here. Office staff are easy to communicate with and always accessible! Every month they have some sort of event for their residents (car washes, cookies and milk, apple cider and doughnuts, taco/nacho bar, Christmas party) you can always see how hard the staff work at making these events nice! I appreciate how the staff always keep us informed via email or text, they always keep us in the loop and keep us informed. The apartments itself are clean and very spacious. Love having a carport and especially like the fact that it’s a gated community. The gym/fitness area is a good size with many different work out machines available. The pool area is nice with the lounges and ping pong table along with the barbq area! The club house is a nice spot to hang out at as well. It’s a very quiet area and no one really bothers you which is always a plus. So glad we get to call this place home"
