"I recently purchased a home in Ovation at Mountain Falls, a 55+ (unattended gated) community on the Western end of Taylor Morrison's Mountain Falls development. Ovation is surrounded by the 1st through 9th holes of the 18 hole Mountain Falls golf course that was co-designed by course architecture firm Nicklaus Design Group. Ovation at Mountain falls is approximately 6 miles South of the center of the town of Pahrump, 60 miles North of Las Vegas, and offers modern architecture homes in various sizes, and open floor plans, with resident access to a clubhouse with recreation / exercise facilities. The residents hail from all parts of the U.S. and form a very friendly and engaging community. Tastes in yard decoration vary everywhere but I wouldn't consider the community to have a trailer park vibe. Many residents appear content to just add landscape lights to the front xeriscape provided by the developer, although some residents have added metal 'desert-style' decoration elements to their yards. Overall I'm extremely pleased with my choice in Ovation and am looking forward to being a part of the community."
