"I would not go back into this location on 132 maple. I waited in the checkout line for about 15 minutes the cashier didn't ask for a backup cashier and on top of that the talked curse the entire time. I'm sure they we not acting that way when Burlington hired them. Zero stars not a friendly store."
"UPDATE: So after finally making it to the register. I tell the cashier(a tall middle aged man) that they really need to do better. I watched 4 employees work on getting a security tag off that wasn’t taken off at the register for a customer ,making it alarm at the door. That process took them about 10 minutes. Mind you they still have a line wrapped around even further behind me .the cashier proceeded to tell me what he was going to do and I politely said “can you just ring my stuff up because I’m already late”. He instantly has an attitude a responds “ uhm no he(pointing to the cashier next to him) will ring u up”. I said that’s fine too and move my stuff to the next register. He continues to make comments and I’ll be honest and let it be known that I did participate in the argument for a moment. After a couple of minutes I told him I wasn’t in his line and to please stop talking to me. He didn’t and continued to make several comments and then proceeded to say loudly down to the manager that they needed to do better. And she responded “well tell that to the 4 cashiers who called in and the people in here stealing”. I finished my transaction, thanked the cashier who took care of me and walked to the doors. I told the manager at the door that the first cashier was extremely rude. She apologized and said have a good night. I’m in retail management so I absolutely understand and empathize with their situation of being short staffed. However, the lack of urgency and the level of rude behavior was completely unacceptable and if those are the people you want representing Burlington then I will no longer shop at this location. Someone definitely needs to step in and do a full investigation of what’s going on at that location. Only giving a two star review because they had a nice selection. Now the issue is the line wrapped around to the clothes and 3 managers standing around talking while the four cashiers they do have are showing no urgency in getting the line cleared out. Not to mention my daughter watched a man walk out a side door with an arm full of clothes and they are still standing there. I love Burlington but this is ridiculous"
"Great deals on clothes, coats, and decor. Their selection of big kids clothing is pretty sparse. I wish they still stocked 3 piece suits for boys in quantity. For the past 2 years I haven't found any when I go. (Easter or Christmas)."
"I was shocked how poorly this location is managed. This is an accident waiting to happen. Look at the photos of the isles here. Can't be from one shoppers day even. Stores only look this bad when people used to shop the day after Thanksgiving. This store should be closed overnight and have staff rearrange the whole store. Or at least management foe allowing such a disaster to happen. I gave 3 stars because I found 4 items affordablly priced, and the cashier was personable. What is wrong with stores? Allowing this kind of disregard and lack of care. I understood it's difficult to find help. Espritre in today's world post Covid but do one of 2 things. Pay managers extremely well so they will take pride in their stores and take the initiative to manage it and care for it. Or pay all your staff extremely well. Offer incentives or bonuses. Stoes now need to come up with ideas to motivate staff. It's still up to the owners and cooperations to invent now way of reaching employees and helping them if you want staff to run your stores. Become whatever is going on here isn't working at all. Get it together, retailers."
"This place has undergone a complete changeover in the presentation of their products, the cleanliness of the store and the efficiency of the staff! It used to be a great place to shop at the old location and for a while here, but about 8 years ago it really slipped downhill. It turned into a madhouse with half empty shelves, items strewn across the aisles, nothing organized and slow service. I really needed a coat and have trouble finding my size, so when Burlington was recommended I bit the bullet and came out here this morning. What a surprise! The store was clean and the shelves and racks were neatly stocked and organized. The L coats were next to the L sign, the 4XL coats were next to the 4XL sign. The home decorations were neatly displayed on the tables, the toy department was as well organized as could be hoped for with all the kids that were playing there, and the shirts and jeans were all well stocked and neatly organized by size. Everything was easy to find because there was plenty of clear signage that could be seen from anywhere in the store. There was a huge long line to check out but every register was open and the wait was minimal. Those checkers were flying through each order at top speed but they were also courteous and friendly to every customer, and they were neatly folding each item purchased and carefully bagging everything. And one final compliment, the prices were excellent and the merchandise was good quality. I'll definitely recommend this place to everyone."
