"Party City in Cedar Rapids, a traditional go-to spot for seasonal festivities, didn't disappoint when it came to its vast selection of Halloween decorations and costumes. As always, they boasted a broad and diverse range that can be expected from a store of its reputation. However, on our recent visit, the store organization was a tad chaotic, suggesting that they were in the throes of getting the Halloween stock in order. A little more order would have greatly enhanced the shopping experience, especially for those like us who remember smoother experiences in the past. What genuinely gave us pause were the prices. We had our eyes on some impressively large Halloween tombstones that would have been perfect for our yard. Still, at $60 each for what was essentially a Styrofoam construction, it felt steep. Additionally, a plastic lighted pumpkin priced at $100 seemed out of step with the perceived quality of the item. While we understand that holiday merchandise can command higher prices due to demand, it's essential for prices to align with product quality. Unfortunately, on this occasion, we couldn't find the value to match the price tags and left the store without making a purchase. In future visits, we hope to see a more balanced pricing structure that reflects the inherent quality and value of the items, ensuring customers feel they're getting their money's worth."

"Their hours are crazy. You can pick up party supplies frkm early in the morning to late in the evening. They do a pretty good job there as well. If you are thrifty you can get some good deals!"
