"Last week I missed lunch I worked all afternoon and then I was starving and all I wanted was Hy-Vee fried Chicken and a choice of healthy salads when I went in there they taken everything that was healthy out of the realm of possibility for a two-piece chicken dinner so I had to buy chicken separately and a salad separately and go home and eat which is not what I wanted at all I'll never go back to that store they want Americans to be fat so they can die young"

"I am in a medical boot and therefore used a motorized wheelchair for my shopping trip. During self checkout I had experienced some difficulty attempting to bag my items. Ms. Beth came right over, asked if she could assist me and I was so thankful. Ms. Beth also gave me a hug on my way out of the store. She really made a difference in my day. Thank you Ms. Beth for being GREAT at your job."

"The pharmacy is very under staffed and my prescriptions often get screwed up. I am debating switching to a different pharmacy. I know it's a very busy stor.but waiting 25 plus minutes to get through the line inside or the drove through is too much."

"They have a really nice store. It is clean and organized and I like shopping here. They also have a really nice Veterans Day breakfast. This year, Mayor Nick came and gave a little speech. Also some people from the city council came, too. It was a very touching speech and he gave a proclamation from the city council. They also did a flag raising ceremony with the fire department and American Legion outside. Overall, a very touching thing to see. It is nice to see a company give back and show respect for veterans in the community. I'm glad I got groceries this morning and got to see it."

"This is the Hy-Vee with the friendliest staff around. Everyone that I have encountered that works here are very helpful. They don’t seem to regard customers as interruptions. They have the same services as the other Hy-Vees such as dry cleaning and a floral department. I go there for the good produce. Parking seems to go smoothly. One thing that confuses me about this chain is that pricing is not consistent with every store except for items listed in their sale ads."
