Bruegger's Bagels 3730 Ingersoll Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50312

"Went this morning 9am on 3/19/24. I wanted to order a dozen bagels and cream cheese bundle. I began looking at the bagels and the lady at the register loudly and EXTREMELY rudely told me, “you have to order your bagels at the counter”. I explained I wanted to look to decide what I wanted. She said I had to order off some sheet attached to the register. She then began rapid fire asking questions about my order. Not even allowing me time to think about my choices. I told her I’m a visual person and like to see what I’m ordering. She then began mocking me by holding up her fingers to show me how many I had left to order in the dozen. I would understand the sense of urgency if they had a line but I was the only person in the restaurant. I felt like she wanted me out of there as fast as possible. What an AWFUL experience and your company should consider hiring someone with an ounce of customer service. I still tipped because I didn’t want to punish the person who prepared my food. She was helpful and kind. Worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. I’m sad because I LOVE brueggers and have a lot of good memory’s going there over the years."

"Brueggers on ingersoll service and quality has really gone downhill. My husband went in this morning to get green bagels for St. pattys day(which they didn’t have). The lady working behind the counter was incredibly rude and loud(I understand everyone is aloud to have a bad day). My husband gets some bagels anyway with a honey walnut cream cheese. I put the cream cheese on my bagel and it was sour! My husband and I both checked the date which says May 1 but the cream cheese is clearly spoiled. I tried to call to speak to someone but the phone was never picked up, a voice recording came on that said everyone was busy and then up. Never again, poor service poor quality no customer service."

"Might as well never order on the app because they don’t start making it until after you get there and ask about it, have tried 4-5 times. Have forgotten to toast my bagel a couple times. Staff is super friendly"

"~*The Skinny Egg White Breakfast sandwich on a 5 cheese bagel was one of the worst bagel sandwiches I’ve ever had. The texture of the bagel was mushy. The sun dried tomato tasted like tomato paste and the turkey sausage was a rubbery substance…. The twice baked hash brown was not cooked all the way so it was cold in the middle. Oh they touch absolutely everything without changing their gloves. If you don’t eat pork products I would recommend being careful ordering food here. They handled greasy bacon with the same gloves they made sandwiches with. The lady at the register was super awesome and loved her personality.*~"

"Even asking for well toasted/dark bagels they were so underdone they were inedible. The woman behind the counter was “so over” her job and rude that I should have known to just cancel and go somewhere else. One look at the salmon bagel where she literally put the ENDS of an onion that had gone bad. The cream cheese had zero flavor. I guess the only way to eat these bagels is to pick them up, buy your own fresh ingredients and toast/make your sandwiches at home."
