The Royal Mile

"A 3.5 overall. It has the look of a traditional Americanized Irish/British pub but lacked the camaraderie one would hope to find. the food was decent. The grilled asparagus was nice and crispy, the Steak and Guinness Pie was good. The mashed taters were a little on the cold side but decent. The sticky toffee pudding was very good; could be better with ice cream; salted caramel or vanilla. The disappointment came when I was given a choice between a pint and 20oz. Draught Guinness and it was a pint glass with a thick head ......and consequently, a short and sloppy pour. The second was a little better, but, still only a pint. The server was a pleasant and attentive young lad. Overall, it's a place I would consider frequenting to see if familiarity would make for better service."

"We were looking for a place serving food at a very late hour with 3 older teens in tow (after a nearby hockey game). What a gem of a find. Even though they were serving only appetizers at that hour, they had very tasty options, and the service & atmosphere was great. I would love to go back during a more 'normal' hour of the day."

"Legit English/Irish/Scottish pub with food and drink options to match (they even had Old Speckled Hen on draught). This place was recommended by a local transplant that grew up in Ireland so I felt it would be good. The fish and chips were really good. Even if you don't eat, grab a proper English Ale pint and a packet of crisps while you soak up the vibe."

"Charming bar restaurant. Loved the location and decorated beautifully. Wait staff was friendly and prompt. Food was served hot and was delicious. Portions huge, and priced well."
