"Great food with perfect portions. We would definitely recommend coming here while you’re in town."
"This place always nails it! The Ribeye was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and had a deep, rich flavor. We've been many times, and service is always top-notch. The service team has a high sense of urgency and professionalism."
"Really good food and service, we always forget about this restaurant but should make it a regular. The service was good but a little slow, we had a larger group, so it was understandable. The apps were fantastic, good amount of food and came out quickly. The main course was delicious, we had steak, fish and salad mains. All were prepared well and had fantastic flavor. We did have 2 toddlers with us and had to ask for high chairs and kids menus. Overall it was a great night and we will be back."
"I’ve been here many times over the years for lunch and dinner. The vibe gives upscale and fancy, but I never feel out of place in more casual clothes. It can sometimes get a little loud and busy. I live for the bread. Dipped in oil, it always hits the spot. Some of my recommended dishes for appetizers are the fried brussel sprouts, portobello fries and fried calamari. For meals, I love the tomato basil soup with tortellini- great flavor and texture, the pizzas and the three cheese medallions. Overall the food has always been really good. I’ve been here occasionally when the salt has been a little heavy handed, but this time the food was great. Our meal this time was chicken Frances which was delicious. The lemon butter sauce made the chicken a little soggy and the sauce a little loose, but the flavor was so good. It was pretty much two meals, so for a dinner price it wasn’t bad. Our waitress kept our water glasses full and gave us space but made sure we had what we needed. I’ve never left disappointed and usually have a meal for the next day as portion sizes are pretty good."
"During my time at this restaurant the food and service was good, yet I was a little let down in the atmosphere. I wanted to eat at a fancy quiet Italian restaurant when I was in Des Moines and it was just more of a regular atmosphere where all the customers were loud. The food was solid you get a lot but it is on the pricey side. The service was great our waiter was very nice but he wasn’t the most informative on what to get due to us asking because we had never been there. I got the homemade cavatelli which is the second picture. My friends got a burger and soup and the Tuscan panini. Then we all shared the bruschetta."
