"We came here for my husband's birthday and it was great. Nice sized vegetarian menu, and were able to accommodate regular menu items to vegetarian. Portion sizes were huge and the food was delicious. We didn't even mean to tell them it was my husband's birthday but they overheard and brought him shots and sang him a song. He wants to come back every year for his birthday."
"Our food was not even lukewarm. The red sauce on the tamale smelled/looked like pasta sauce and the cheese sauce (extra 2.99) was very, very thin. We were extremely disappointed."
"Visited El Patron Mexican restaurant recently just after they moved to their Merle Hay Road location. The food is just as good as ever, and margaritas are great. The staff is excellent. Everyone was friendly and the service was prompt. It’s nice that they moved to a larger space. It was fairly busy, but did not feel crowded. We’ll be back again soon!"
