Tasty Tacos

"VERY DISAPPOINTED! I eat here often and they always get orders correct. BUT today EVERYTHING was wrong on my pick up order. When I got home i noticed and it was too late. It was so far off I have to say something. I ordered 3 original flours and 1 corn along with corn nachos with extra beef. I ended up with 3 original flours a bag of chips and a cup of cheese sauce. No idea what is going on with this location lately but CHECK YOU PICK UP ORDERS if you want what you paid for! NO HAPPY to say the least"

"I’ve heard SO many raves about Tasty Tacos, but I was extremely disappointed by my experience (at least at this location). Upon entering the building there was a very off putting odor. Literally smelled of a dead mouse/mice. Dead mice have a distinct odor and that is exactly what this smelled of. Things happen and it is just starting to get cold so it/them likely could have been trapped, but for as strong as the smell was it was definitely left rotting. This ruined my appetite. It FILLED the restaurant (could even smell it in the bathroom). Service was fast. Clerk at the counter wasn’t very welcoming or friendly, but overall didn’t have a terrible experience with employees. The place didn’t seem very clean. The toilet in the women’s restroom is wobbly. Floors were dirty and several tables were left with previous customers’ food messes. After getting our food, I took a few bites and it was not anything to rave about. Mediocre taco. Spanish rice was, eh. Couldn’t get passed the smell enough to even want to eat more than those few bites. Left with throwing the rest of our food away and settled for fast food before leaving the city. Really hope this was just a location issue, as I’ve heard so many great things, and after going to this one on Euclid I was absolutely shocked."

"Texas style Puffy tacos! I love the steak and original on the puffy flour tortillas. The corn tortilla is just your standard hard shell taco, nothing to get too excited about. But the service was friendly and food was good. I always go out of my way to visit a tasty tacos whenever I'm in Des Moines."
