"It may be authentic but I wouldn't call these the best tacos in DSM. We ordered both kinds of birria tacos and margaritas. Margaritas were worst I've had, no alcohol in them. Birria tacos were super small compared to other restaurants and way over priced. We won't be back."
"Food is exceptional, service is fast but attentive. The “red sauce” is incredible. If it were bottled/packaged to go, I would buy it for use at home. Their kitchen knows what they’re doing - shout out to this local, family-owned treasure!"
"Some of the best Mexican food I've had in DSM. True hidden gem. I had the chilaquilles Verde with steak, and ohhh man was it good."
"The food was very tasty. I had steak tacos and an empanada. The salsa was a little different. Tasted like it had cumin which was a surprise but not bad. The service was okay. The waiter didn’t seem to know what the specials were for Cinco. I hope to try other items."
"We had a really good experience here. We had excellent service and their authentic Mexican food is a must try. I have been stalking the pictures on Facebook and honestly never had a lot of what they offer but so definitely wanting to try. I loved their salsa that they bring out for the chips. They had really good flavor. Before they brought the food he brought out two more salsas. I was already thinking green sauce? And like he read my mind, he brought out two different a bottled green and dark red one. The green salsa was my favorite. The dark red one was pretty hot. It was instant almost sweat on my forehead! He had ordered Carne asada and I decided to do a la carte and got a gordita, flour taco and empanada all with chicken along with refried beans. After ordering I wish I did not get all chicken but all was so amazing. The empanada was too die for. We will be back soon!"
