"I lived here for 8 months during 2021-2022 right as new management took over and transitioned the property. David, the new landlord, is a really nice guy, who has put in tremendous work to the property over the past year. Aside from remodeling most if not all the apartments at this point , he installed a new washer/dryer room, removed problem tenants, and has created a vision for the property and community. Aside from that it’s pretty hard to beat being so close to cal lodge and the beach to make the most of winter and summer. If you’re still reading and considering, I wouldn’t be put off by the negative reviews, this place has come a REALLY long way and for the better."

"Pros: Covered parking, friendly neighbors, nice units, and you couldn't be closer to the chair lifts. All around good place. New owners have put a lot of effort into making this a good place to live, and their responsiveness/customer service during the application process was really a highlight. Cons: Taken longer to get the laundry room up and running than management said it would when we moved in, but it is finally finished and they were communicative and apologetic about the delays. On the pricier side of apartments in South Lake, but it's also on the nicer side of apartments in South Lake. Were some problem tenants in the building when I first moved in, but they were left over from prior owners/management and mgmt did a great job solving the issues. Overall I'd give the place 4.5 stars, so rounding up."

"New owners/management are mediocre. Very unprofessional in their communication, jacked up rent, cut back on parking, and can’t even properly clear the snow/ice this winter. The entire parking lot is covered in a treacherous sheet of uneven ice as I write this review and it hasn’t even snowed since a month ago. Would definitely recommend that you avoid moving here. Very overpriced for what it is."

"Couldn't give a review with out ratting them with a star. But to be honest thay do not even deserve that on star. I have been a resident at these apartments for almost 3 years now and have had to pay more out than what these apartments are worth do not recommended them I am here still only because I can't afford rent on two different places and a deposit on a second place."
