"Purchased 2 sweatshirts, one of which I thought I might want to return if I found something better. Asked the cashier if I can return and she said with tags and a receipt. I came back two days later to return with tags and a receipt and the cashier only offered an exchange and pointed to the posted policy. The posted policy on the counter was covered by the other sweatshirt I purchased, so I trusted the cashier’s advice. He gaslit me and refused to refund me. If that reaction is over a sweatshirt, I cannot imagine how poor the service is for renting skis. Never go to this place."

"Our family of 4 had a great experience and be the happy to recommend the team at Powder Ski. We have never had a snow holiday so nerves were high but the online booking was so easy. The team in store were welcoming and answered any question. We even had 2 swap to skis from snowboards after 2 days. Lake Tahoe is great and this is one stop that is highly recommended."

"Service 5 stars, friendly staff and very helpful. Rental quality and price - 0-1 star. If you are looking to rent snow gears this is not the place to go. Very expensive and outdated clothes that are torn. They charge $20 per piece per day no package deal like other places. If you are renting snow jacket, snow pants it's $40/day. Helmet additional $20. In Harvey's, there's a shop close to the arcade they rent $25/day as a package deal for snow pants and snow jacket with better, thicker quality."

"I’m cutting them some slack with 3 stars. They did not communicate well at 2 of 3 locations. 1st location: I had a reservation across the street from the Gondola. Was not acknowledged at all for 15 minutes until accosting someone who finally said “the system Is down. Go across the street.” 2nd location: was not acknowledged after they insisted I sign in for another 20 minutes. Was told that I need to go around the corner (150 ft) to the Gondola location. I expressed my dissatisfaction, and was appreciated for“ your attitude, Bud!” I said politely, “you’re welcome for my attitude, Bud.” Customer “service” did not exist at all until the cashier at the final Gondola location. She said wait 10 minutes and we’ll be back in business. (Cross fingers). She rocked, because she was right. Went to get my board setup and the dude put the bindings on wrong (left on front side; yes I’m goofy) Had to go back to get them switched. The second due said they are symmetrical. Not true. He switched them with little more argument. It was getting hectic so I’m cutting these guys some slack. Equipment was eventually of decent but not demo quality. Great powder, great time. Heavenly lifts were killing it. Super crowded. Never waited more than 5 minutes."
