"Do not get a tune up here. They will mess up your board. I dropped off for an overnight wax & edge sharpen. They did not sharpen the metal edge but instead cut the top layer of the board all the way around. The board is only 15 days old & was not damaged before drop off."
"Very convenient for renting skis when staying at the Hilton Vacation Club in South Lake Tahoe. Ask for the hotel discount when checking into the hotel and then go across the street to rent your skis. Or even better reserve your skis online before you arrive and get a better deal. The staff were friendly and helpful when I went, and it wasn’t very busy. I needed a small adjustment to my binding and they did it and gave me a further discount for the inconvenience."
"Do NOT shop or rent at this store. First and foremost, their products are AWFUL and cheap. Second, all of the Tahoe mountains were closed on our day of rental and they charged us full price for our rentals that we never got to use. If you care about either high quality products or good customer service, do not shop here. The employees know nothing about ski or snowboard equipment."
"I have rented skis here many times with no problems and not sure why all the bad reviews. Some years some sales folks not as nice as other years, but for the most part I've been very happy with what I've received and how it has worked out."
"Employees does not seem to be having fun at all and it reflects to how they treat the customers as well. Also, online reservation doesn’t mean too much. You will be kept waiting and charged same in the store as far as I see."
