"This and other affordable housing recently built in the area is not designed for people with jobs. It is for the jobless. It is attractive to the homeless/jobless. Nearly impossible to qualify if you are employed. Not for the work force in this area which is in serious need here."
"I was told by Sierra community House and safe alliance to apply at this apartment complex. I jumped through hoops getting all the information that they needed and then days before being tossed out to the streets with my children they tell me that I make too much money. I in no way make too much money. I can't rent anywhere else because I don't make enough to cover the rent we already survive off of food bank food and now apparently I Make too much for the low income apartments Lake Tahoe can kick rocks I've been here my whole life because it's time to leave time to quit my job pack my kids up in the car and go live in the vehicle somewhere"
