The absence of warmth and communication skills made interactions rather disappointing. Moreover, the outdoor Jacuzzi and sauna came as an unexpected inconvenience, especially considering the region’s renowned skiing conditions. It’s perplexing that such crucial information isn’t highlighted on booking platforms, as it significantly affects guests’ comfort during their stay, especially in colder weather. Additionally, the room’s lack of basic amenities like dishes, slippers, and a water boiler was disappointing. These are often expected and contribute to guests’ convenience and comfort, which were clearly overlooked in this establishment."

"Stayed here for one night while our house at Northstar was being renovated due to winter water damage. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical of Best Westerns…adequate and satisfying. Since it was still off-season, there were no crowds. Easy to park, and super convenient location."

"We enjoyed staying in this rather large Best Western. Whenever you choose a BW, it can be a hit or a miss. This one was definitely a hit. The rooms were large, the beds were comfortable, and the people at the front desk were kind enough. We found the hot breakfast to be good with a large choice. You were being served like in college, so better bring a few bucks for the ladies. This hotel is a good choice when you stay in the Truckee area, and we recommend it."
