Historic Wailuku Inn 2199 Kahookele Street, Wailuku, HI 96793

"Things have changed at the Historic Wailuku Inn Other than not receiving check in info and having to call 8 times to get baythubt… I’m not sure when Luxe Maui assumed control of the property but it’s very Airbnb and none of the BnB you would except from well…a BnB The renovations are nice aesthetically (although not complete in some parts) but not having someone on the property that can attend to you or fix things ( the room was freezing even after turning off the temperature control) seems off, impersonal and quite frankly off putting The lack of hotel/local service that the inn was known for was discouraging at best but knowing that it’s owned by a larger company makes sense that it’s no longer charming and breakfast is currently not available. if the inn wasn’t ready to take guests in not sure why we were able to book it Hopefully “luxe” Maui properties doesn’t turn it into “money grab no service” Maui properties"

"Such an amazing place to stay! The residence has wonderfully maintained gardens, the smells are amazing. Clean rooms with great amenities. Comfy beds and complimentary robes. The breakfasts were phenomenal. Felt very safe and comfortable here. Parking is a tad tight if you have a bigger vehicle but doable. Stay here if you have the opportunity!"

"Was looking for a nice quiet place to stay with hassle free parking and this place was it. Parking is right outside and there's never an issue of not having one since there's only enough parking for per a room. Included breakfast every morning is nice, it was too bad I was only able to enjoy 2 of them out of the 4 nights I was there (had to leave before their 8am breakfast delivery during those times) It's also located in the center part of Maui so its a good place to start from to go all over the island. Only negative about it is tours do not do pick ups at this location. (most tours in Maui are a waste of money anyway) Would definitely use this place again."

"This is a beautiful property. As far as Hawaii goes, this had a spacious room, comfortable beds, large clean bathrooms, and shared cozy living room space. Everything is clean, breakfast is taken care of and parking is right out the door making getting in and out super quick. Overall, it's a fantastic place to stay if you aren't looking for a beach resort."

"Quiet, peaceful and a wonderful stay on MAUI. Park the car, put your feet up, don't worry about a thing is how I describe our stay at The Old Wailuku Inn. The Inn is a wonderful place to relax, figure out the adventure for the day, but only after you have one of their wonderfully presented and delicious breakfasts. Have it in your room, on the Lani, or at a table surrounded by beautiful vegetation. The staff are delightful and there if you need them. Otherwise, you feel like you are home. Rooms are excellent and well decorated with terrific beds. I could not get enough of the bathroom and shower, just wonderful. Make the break from big and busy hotels as this is true Hawaii relaxation."
