"Overall did not have a bad time staying here. However, the $42 a day resort fee is absolutely ridiculous and includes almost nothing. It says it includes access to the gym and wifi, but those things should not cost $42 a day for an already expensive hotel. Room service charges a $5 delivery fee and tacks on 17% gratuity. Why is that not included in the resort fee? We also rented a car and when I asked if there was parking for hotel guests, we were told it would be $45 a day to park at the hotel. It makes no sense that the resort fee would not include parking for guests. My boyfriend and I had to go find street parking around the hotel because we were not going to pay an additional $45 a day for 7 days. Rooms were clean, but room service came pretty late in the day. Some days we would get back from lunch and they still haven't come, and we had to call them and ask them to. There is only one pool, and it gets pretty crowded. I found it hard to find two seats together at times. It seemed like you had to get there pretty early in the day to get a spot, and if you left at all and decided to come back it would be hard to find a spot. There is also only one hot tub, which was often crowded. Overall, this is a family friendly hotel so there is a lot of kids. I'm not sure I would recommend staying here for a romantic getaway."
"Came here for the 2024 Brunch Fest. Not your regular Brunch and there were only a few selected restaurants presented. There was not much food to eat and what they did have was just a small selection of what the eateries have to offer. Not really what I was expecting. On the plus side the selections were good although some were served cool and should have been warmer. I was presented the opportunity to attend and I used this to treat my wife and mother in law. I came away a little disappointed especially for what I paid for the tickets. This by no means a bad mark for the hotel as it's a reflection on the individual restaurants that were there. Maybe with a little more interaction with the restaurants they could have made this event a much more positive outcome for the hotel. In my opinion the money spent on the tickets did not live up to the hype of the event."
"Beautiful hotel with great rooms!! Stayed 5 nights and didn’t want to leave. It’s located on the harbor with a short walk to the beach, so it’s not as crowded. The Ala Moana mall is a 10 min walk away. Trolley access to the busiest parts of Waikiki is right outside the hotel as well. The pool and poolside service were amazing. Do not hesitate to stay here. Also, there is a great place across the street that sells the BEST acai bowls, Tropical Tribe."
"I was there for a conference. I didn't stay there so I can't comment on the rooms. The lobby was gorgeous and had a Honolulu coffee co. Shop there with breakfast items. The lobby also has retail shops with some of Hawaii's finest made products. Great location too."
"Our stay here was top notch. Rooms were clean, beautiful, and quiet. They have an infinity pool with a great view of the harbor. If you’re wanting something more intimate and less crowded (especially in the pool area), definitely stay here! The other resort hotels directly along the beach were packed to the brim while ours was busy but still had a private feel (even with a few children present). I’m a light sleeper and I had nothing to complain about, the rooms are definitely soundproof. Bonus, you can open the window to hear the live music if you’re feeling it! Music ends at a reasonable time for bed."
