"Extremely rude and unresponsive. After a week of calling with no answer, we finally had someone answer the phone. I explained that we’ve been trying to make an appointment for a week and that my boyfriend needs an MRI desperately, only for her to say “That’s not my problem. Did you listen to our answering machine? It says don’t call more than once.” and hung up on me. This is the only clinic in Kona that takes workman’s comp insurance so we’re left with no other option."
"I can honestly say worst experience ever definitely not professional and very rude staff didn't help me one bit only person who knows what they're doing is the anesthesiologist. The Dr. Kept switching my meds without any warning and everything she gave me didn't work would be smart to try something a little bit longer just to see if it helps instead of making a human guinea pig out of me never will I ever go back to a place so unprofessional...since my Drs name was fabrizi I use to always sing ( I dont wanna be happy fabreeze la la la la la) lol..."
"I took my son there who suffered an anoxic brain injury, he has multiple, very painful contractures. The office staff was a bit rude but I dismissed it as they were busy and my son arrived on gurney which is often difficult to accommodate. Rene Fabrizi saw my son, I expressed a desire to keep him off opiates to manage his pain (he was overdosed at the hospital and almost died so I’m very wary) she gave me an electric stimulation device which helps a little but really is mediocre and not consistent in its results. My son has been in excruciating pain for over a year and we can’t get Botox shots for 6 mons, he needs pain killers of some kind both for the trip to Oahu and in the mean time.I asked for them explaining this and Rene Fabrizi and her colleagues said he “wasn’t right” for their clinic, no explanation and the suggested doctor they gave me IS ON OAHU. He can’t get there, but they know that. I found this, and their treatment of my son so insulting, uncaring, unprofessional, and frankly, cruel. I will be reporting them to the state and every oversight board I can think of. Please if you have a bad experience with “any” health care provider report them to an oversight board AMA, HMA, etc. they need to know their neglect and or mistreatment of people is unacceptable."
"Our experience with the office staff when we walked in the door for the first time was rude. No hello. Asked for ID and insurance like going thru customs. Asked for a urine sample with NO direction or where the restroom was located, I assume it would be similar experience when entering a penitentiary. The nurse and the PA were professional, caring, and wonderful. TOP OF THE LINE! Leaving the examine room and having to deal with the office staff was far from pleasant. They literally demanded and argued regarding scheduling a date for a following up appointment when the procedure had not been approved by our insurance carrier nor scheduled with the clinic. I gave them our clipboard with pages of paperwork some of which we did not fill out because it was not applicable to our visit. We left, took the elevator down and were entering the parking area when one of the office staff came storming down the steps literally yelling at us before she landed at the bottom (with others in the parking area) because we had not filled out a form. After an unpleasant conversation, she agreed to give me the forms, I would fill them out, and email them to her. As I walked away she shouted "YOUR WELCOME" AND THREW HER HANDS IN HE AIR AND SHOUTED "AASGHAA". I was dumbfounded. It was shocking. I walked to my car (where my husband- the patient) (he left the scene out of embarrassment and harassment). As we drove away I asked him about his experience, his reply "oh boy, it was bad from when I walked in". I called the clinic from my car (no one answered) and I left a message for the PA to call me. I have not received a call. I assume the office staff recognized my voice and did not give the PA my message. I never post negative experiences, but this is experience in a medical clinic getting advise on a serious problem (not that it should matter) is unacceptable. I've been addressed more respectively upon entering a gas and asking for the key to the lua without buying gas. My intention is not to have the office staff removed, but for them to realize their clients are hurting, need help, deserve respect, and compassion. (Needless to say we are providing the income to pay their wages.) Help, respect, compassion are so easy to give and don't require time, just words."
