"I have sitting since 10:30 a.m. or earlier for a scheduled appointment. It was later this afternoon, but no one was waiting. I have waited patiently for one provider yet there are at least six present. The lobby has emptied four times. The staff took lunch, and most of them opted for McDonald's. Considering the obvious levels of obesity and other health complications, a healthier choice would have been better. Back to the awful attention to detail for patients with chronic conditions like myself. I was a patient on the Eastside in Hilo, and I sought care from a now resigned PCP. Turns out that guy refusal to order advanced laboratory samples for me was a systematic issue to ignore much needed treatment for minority patients. Needless to say, I had to reach out to the state and have a coordinator to recommend my labs. The obvious bad news is confirmed. However, someone modified by original laboratory report after the fact to reflect a reductionist low or moderate reporting, yet all my scores are beyond the high markers. I have never experienced modified laboratory results after a visit without providing additional samples. The second report is suspicious. I strongly recommend a competing medical organization to come to the Big Island. There needs to be an audit of the Hawaii Community Health Center formerly Bay Clinic. I have to do all my own paperwork. I just got called five minutes ago. Let's see the quality of care or lack thereof."
