"The people at Kona veterinary service are absolutely amazing. When our house burned down and our cat suffered from smoke inhalation, they took good care of him and helped him recover. Then, because our house was gone and we were still dealing with not having a place to live, they kindly allowed him to stay there for a few extra days while recovering. Their care and concern for both pet and owner was obvious and we are of course fans for life."

"We endured the worst day of our lives on Sunday. The passing of our first baby after 13.5 years together. Our hearts are shattered. Everything was fine until it wasn’t.. we started panic calling vets, as it was a Saturday night and no one was open. We’ve only ever taken our pup to the Waikoloa Vet and when we called that night, we were directed to the Kona office. Dr Jordan met us in Kona right away. He helped treat our boy and home we went. But our boy didn’t improve much over night and we watched as he began to slowly slip away. We called early am Sunday and again Dr Jordan met us. He never once told us that we had no chance, even though I know he knew it was dire. He offered treatment and hope. Two things we needed. But even after attempting to find a solution there was nothing to be done. Our boy passed in our arms shortly after we arrived. Dr Jordan and the tech let us grieve in peace. They didn’t care about the money or about us taking up their Sunday. They brought us tissues and told us to stay as long as we needed. They didn’t charge us another emergency fee or ask for a credit card for X-rays and ultrasounds. Instead they asked how we wanted to honor our boy and the tech cried too. When we eventually peeled ourselves off the floor they only cared that we could drive safely. I’ve met a lot of vets in my life but not many had the deep level of compassion and understanding that Dr Jordan has. I couldn’t recommend this vet enough. When our hearts have healed enough to save another baby in the future this will be our vet ❤️"

"I have been going to kona vet for years and the staff there have been wonderful however the front receptionist I have dealt with the last few times has caused me to seek a different vet service. I have asked her several times if I offended her in any way as her hostility towards me is unwarranted and her attitude extremely rude. I don’t feel at all comfortable using their service it is a shame as the last vet tech was amazing."
