Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach

"Stayed here for a week. Awesome hotel. The breakfast is exceptional. The rooms are clean. Only 2 blocks from Waikiki beach. There is an ABC store 1 block away too. Great access to the city. Overall a very pleasant stay. The only negative I would say is the pool is very very small and no hot tub but really not a big deal since the beach was so close anyways."

"Wow I'm blown away. I absolutely loveddddd my stay! Breakfast was great and those water dispensers & bottles came in handy. I loved Knowing that there was food available within the hotel and always someone at the front desk to help with concerns. Customer service was unbelievably Awesome!! Quality of the hotel itself was great! I was very comfortable. My one push is to have maintenance adjust the stairwell door hinges so that doors close slower and slam less."

"Everything was good. Breakfast included was lacking variety and options, and the pool didn’t get a lot of sun. Not a big deal because it’s a block from the beach. Staff were wonderful. They had great options for borrowing beach accessories like chairs, and boogie boards. It was also nice being next to the twin fin. We were able to rent our cars from their lobby, use them for the day, and then drop them off at the end of the day. Parking a car is $50-$60 a night so take advantage of the pickup drop off. You can find free parking but it’s not easy."

"This hotel was great and just what we needed for our first trip to Hawaii! Staff were very friendly, room was great and location cannot be beat. My only reason for a 4-star rating is that for our tower (East I believe) the elevators were SO SLOW. Food, pool, laundry and fitness centre are all located on the 3rd floor, but there are only 2 elevators to service the entire tower (and others coming to use the 3rd floor services), including staff moving around with linens, maintenance, etc. Highly recommend a service elevator or more elevators on that side of the hotel. Otherwise was amazing."

"The hotel was in a great location with easy access to Waikiki beach and the downtown area. The hotel provided guests with beach chairs, towels, and water bottles. The breakfast was very good with a varied menu each day and always served fresh and hot! The only suggestion I have is to renovate the pool area to make it more appealing. Perhaps some potted plants and/or a wall mural with new coverings for patio furniture. Otherwise the pool was clean and warm."
