Express Upholstery

"I have tried calling this business several times only get an answering machine, so I stopped by the address to speak to some one. There was no parking area as it was taken up by several vehicles having work done on the engines. Many engine parts and partial engines were laying on the ground in front of the building making it look more like a backyard mechanics shop than an upholstery shop. So I parked around the corner. The building looks more like a shanty than a business. Inside the building I found two cars in body restoration and a small area with a sewing machine, some fabric, car bumpers, other car parts and a yapping dog. In the adjacent building I found a small office area with no one to be found. The dog followed me and continued to yap loudly but no one came forward. It was obvious to me that this upholstery business has no business sense and would not be able to handle the upholstery of any antique furniture which I had hoped that they could do. If you are looking for a qualified business who can do responsible upholstery look elsewhere."

"Not a fancy shop but conscientious dedicated owner and staff. Super easy to work with, did estimate by messaging and photos. He allowed me to bring my own fabric. I had new stools which were almost ruined with mothballs when they arrived. Express got EVERY bit of the stink out and they actually look better than when I brought them in. The company I purchased from Bombay refused to accept a return so I was stuck but Express not only fixed the stools they made them better. There were a lot of classic cars in various stages of restoration. Classic car owners are very fussy! They want their cars to look original and it was cool seeing how wonderful they were being made to look. Awesome shop with awesome staff who actually take pride in their shop and work. Amazing to find in today's times. Express' estimate was almost half of what other shops gave me. I couldn't be happier and the owner was fine with me bringing in the fabric which I picked up at Mill End. Saved lots of $$ and got great looking stools that don't stink. We will definitely return again to Express Upholstery! Oh! He beat his time estimate by a whole week. I got my finished stools in just under a week. Who does that now days? Express was a great experience all around!!"

"Issac was terrific installing my first replacement top on my '94 Miata, so I had him install another on my 2006 Miata. Limited color selections was my concern. His price is reasonable as well, $1500 for StayFast model with defrost."
