"Do not come here. We have to pay at least a thousand dollars to get home because this lab messed up our test result. They told us that they were unable to properly test one of the samples because their equipment was unable to find a conclusive result. We have to find accommodation and a change of flight. They gave us no further information or help. This was also after fifty hours of waiting for a result (it says it will be done within 48). Our flight is supposed to leave in three hours."

"I had been going there for many years until last year but went to the Kahala location and Hawaii Kai location where I live closer during Covid-19 quarantine period. I went back to the Ala Moana DLS last month. They are definitely the best, providing the fastest service. Kahala location is really really bad running so slow and unfriendly. I can't say enough of good things about the staff here. I wish the kahala staff were half as good since it's more convenient. I have to make a special trip to Ala Moana now, but it's so worth it!!!"

"My partner and I are visiting Hawaii, starting in Honolulu and flying out 4 days later to the Big Island. We did our research on finding spots for free and approved centers and had no luck. We were seeing anywhere from $175-$299 and just got so disappointed. We then talked to a few locals and they recommended DLS at Ala Moana Center because they were less expensive ($125), extremely nice, and quick. 24hrs later I have my results for inter island travel and the locals were right! In and out within 10mins, no hassle, and no lines. Make an appointment and don’t bring insurance (they don’t take it). Thank you DLS!"

"This was the worst experience I have ever had. Was on vacation in Honolulu and had to have a covid test done before flying home to Canada. Researched online, found this lab which said results would be received within 48 hours. Scheduled appointment 72 hours in advance. When we showed up the manager told us only after paying for and taking our tests that her job "was now done" and to come in Monday morning when they opened if not received by then. What?! Our flight was leaving that Monday morning, how could we do that? What then took place was unbelievable. I did not receive my test results in 48 hours. I ended up spending my last day in Hawaii on the phone and email with customer service representatives, one of which lied to me by saying someone would send it shortly and never did. When I called again I was told I would receive it the next afternoon (after my flight departed). When I flat out cried on the phone and begged they agreed to look into it, but even this took repeated follow up and I again had to fill out the same forms etc. Total nightmare. I have good memories of Hawaii, but this was a complete nightmare. Go elsewhere even if you have to pay more."
