"Beware. This review is coming from someone in the medical industry. This provider is really under qualified and their office staff are horrendous at communication. Dr. John Martin didn’t perform my wife’s D&C properly and left some of the placenta in and discharged my wife for her to bleed for two more weeks. The procedure had to be redone by a specialist at another hospital (all the extra cost) to fix the mistakes. I then received a bill 18 months later for Dr. Martin’s botched procedure…when. I called to talk to the manager and doctor, no communication for 3 weeks then got the front desk supervisor. Still haven’t talk to them to date and had to threaten legal action at which Dr. Martin’s lawyer called instead of him. So refusing to speak to a patients family member. Long story shorter, called the insurance company at which they felt I really needed to file a complaint and a Nevada state board review. Everyone do yourselves a favor and push your insurance companies to get to more qualified doctors."

"I am a patient of Dr. John Martins for 3 years yet I've never met him so I can't tell you if he is a good Dr. Or not. The office would never book me an appointment with him only the nurse. That's ok but I would like to meet my DR. I have finally been beyond adamant to the receptionist who is beyond rude that I want an appointment with Dr. Martin, I can't get in until January. Well ok. I then called back today to let them know I feel a tiny lump in my breast and can I just get directed or an appointment for a mammogram , it's been over a year. The girl asks what my insurance is so she can see if she can get me a quicker appointment with their nurse. What? She said the nurse would call me back , and I did miss a call from them with no voice mail. I've been trying to get ahold of them now for an hour with no answer. I hear the Dr. Is incredible but he needs a new front desk staff. I am from California and am just used to incredible health care , I've just had extremely bad luck in Nevada. I am excited to meet Dr. Martin with 5 star reviews"

"Doctor Martin has honestly not only saved my life once but TWICE. I had a complicated pregnancy and he always took the time to make sure me and my son were both safe. He also preformed a emergency surgery for me 13 years after that. He has always been so great for me and now my daughter sees him and he gives great advice. Makes you feel comfortable and sincerely cares about you. Hands down best doctor in the whole world! ;)"

"Dr Martin is amazing. I had the most amazing experience with him delivering my first son. He has great bedside manners and I am so thankful I was able to have him as my delivering doctor after having to switch doctors 2 weeks before my due date. He was thorough with what I should expect as I had a "unique" pregnancy. I hope he stays in practice for my future pregnancies. I highly recommend him as a doctor."
