"The lack of tact during my emergency c-section surgery, with the surgeon discussing personal plans for lunch and what her weekend looked like as I lay cut open, separated from my husband and newborn, was highly unprofessional. Although the nurses were my saving grace through my delivery, their gossip about Dr. Hess's surgical skills after she left was also very inappropriate. Commenting on the excessive blood spillage all over the floor and table compare to the other doctors was extremely insensitive during a very frightening moment. Despite my appreciation for my OBGYN at the practice, I'd hesitate to deliver here again with the possibility of having this doctor in the rotation. I've debated not writing this review, but upon reflection, I hope sharing my experience can prevent a similar situation for someone else in the future."
