"I was skeptical about this hotel because of some of the reviews, but it was a lot better than I expected. It was simple, clean, quiet enough, and the location was great. The fitness room was simple but had a few pieces of equipment and was sufficient for a quick workout. I will definitely stay here again when I go to Las Vegas for a business trip."

"One morning while getting breakfast at this hotel, a front desk employee singled me out to verify my guest status with room keys and ID. This felt somewhat …uncomfortable? Anyway, giving +2 stars because its proximity to the airport is convenient."

"Rooms and amenities are extremely bare bones. No microwave, no guest laundry, shower only, small bedrooms. Probably only good if you're staying for the one night. I was staying 3 nights for work. Walls are extremely thin I could nearly hear my neighbors conversations and everything else they did. All night. Breakfast gets so busy that you can barely squeeze in to use the toaster. Front desk personnel were very kind."

The location being close to the airport and rental car pickup/drop off couldn’t have been better. Easy access to the Strip and other attractions. I couldn’t ask for a better hotel. "We had an overnight layover in Vegas, and opted to stay here instead of the strip for convenience to the airport. Location was great, as we were able to keep our bags while we explored, and then when we came back late (because we were having too much fun), we were minutes away from the airport. Very comfortable beds, clean rooms, free breakfast, 24 hour coffee bar; the hotel is much on brand like the other Tru hotels, so like others said, it does have the same Ikea-dorm-room vibe, which we kind of like since we were traveling with our teenagers. What sets this Tru apart is the service. We came in on a red eye, and the young woman who checked us in was exceptional, making sure we had everything we needed information-wise. The young man and young woman working the next day were also equally helpful and accommodating. She overheard us wondering where we should spend our few hours and recommended a cafe that will be a highlight of our trip! They offered to check our bags, so we didn't have to haul them around. If you want to save money on your next trip to Vegas, and still be a short taxi ride away from all the action, this hotel is perfect! Clean, quiet, great service, good location!"
